Scummy UD players

Idk wotf + possibly the best attack animations horde side. Wotf is huge for pve too not just pvp

Undead got more intellect though, which I’m sure you really appreciate.

actually … it’s the character model

The undead character model (vs all the others) is the most innocuous smallest thing. If you are trying to stealth around the other player can get glimpses of you, if your character is undead those glimpses will be the hardest to track. Harder to see. Harder to tell direction of movement. And so on.

People know this. You know, I’d like to make a rogue and I’d like to pick something other than undead … but the fact is that I’ll be gimping myself in AV by doing that.

So if someone is interested in pvp or getting a jump on someone (which is a totally valid playstyle choice) chances are they are going to pick undead. And as an alliance player I’m sure this influences your understanding of the different races.

Par for the course, unfortunately. You can’t escape bad groups, no matter what role you decide to go with.

The trick is to remember the good groups and either hold your breath during the bad ones or cut your losses and find another. Keep notes on who you want to group with again. That list will eventually be gold.

Posting here rather than the other thread filled with people who think that they are the first to think of joking about your name.

P.S. If you are in groups where you die because the healer is busy healing dps, you definitely need to find a new group.

I agree…

And there’s hardly a cuter race than UD. Heck, without belves on the Horde, they are the prettiest race by far.

Even the male UD are so pretty, it’s difficult to disinguish them from the females. Sorry, if that seems sexist; it’s unintended.

E-Z Mode PvP race, basically.

Yup, along with Orc. Back then we didn’t really know better and thought we were just better players (as a former Horde player). Now we know our racials were a huge crutch with no Alliance equal.

Wtf does this even mean

This is true it’s always undead shadow priests and undead rogues killing lowbies. Mostly shadow priests that love safe spotting and dotting like the evil demons they are

I mean, you hard counter rogues. Thats pretty good.

Hard to hard counter something that can just stay stealthed and avoid them. You also don’t get hard countered by Warlocks because of WotF.

Unless you play the race that has a button to effectively remove any stealth within melee range.

Perception + Spy = counter.

Warlock fear isn’t much of a concern though, on my rogue I don’t get feared by them really. It’s the spriest fear bomb that I love WotF for. But I play an Orc rogue being that I feel their racials are actually better for PvP and PvE.

Doesn’t do much if you just stay at range.

Which means the stealthy can’t even engage… so why would you even need to counter them?

What are you even talking about? An UD Rogue is, “countered” by a Human Warrior… except the Rogue doesn’t ever have to engage on the Warrior.

The rogue is countered by the human warrior waiting to have Spy, their combat log, or the woosh sound of stealth trigger them hitting a Perception macro, then charging immediately.

If the rogue can’t even engage the warrior because they stay at range to avoid being detected, there’s not even a point to discussion since no PvP is initiated. When you just stay and stealth and walk away out of concern that you’ll be popped out and rocked, you’ve effectively been countered.

DEATH TO THE SCOURGE

AND DEATH TO THE LIVING

Now all can see. This is the hour of the Forsaken!

That’s the point. The Rogue never has to engage the Warrior and the Warrior might not even know they’re even there because of that. That’s not the same thing as an UD Rogue looking to open up on a Warlock, which is only countered (to an extent) by them because of WotF.

A Warlock can’t just assume a Rogue is always nearby and be defensive. They also can’t necessarily get away.

Perception?

And humans have perception. In case you forgot.

Locks have death coil. Can’t WOTF horrify and 3 instant casts 100 - 0 you.
