These are total crap mechanics.
BLIZZARD STOP ADDING MECHANICS TO THE GAME THAT CANNOT BE COUNTERED.
The fact that they added stones to block knockbacks in Eye of the Storm is proof of the sheer idiocy of this mechanic.

Maybe play a class with a knock or make an evoker. It’s only going to get worse with havoc getting illidans grasp
We need special aura for Epic BG’s where abilities are capped somehow. All stupid micro knock-up, back, left and right.
Can’t keep track in a 40man of all the things happening. Also nerf starfall and give it to hunters.

My favorite is Sleep Walking someone with no trinket, Swooping them to an edge, then knocking them.
Gives 'em a real sense of impending doom.

Swoop up is such a comically slow animation as well. It’s really like death by zamboni levels of tension.

I had an EotS the other day where I did it to the enemy’s healers 3-4x. They were not pleased… 
Ok when the ground is swirly purple you run away. SImple counter.

When ground any stupid color, it’s very hard to see as a COLORBLIND person especially when you consider the 100 other effects going on (yes spell effects are at their lowest setting).
I have relied on GTFO in PvE for this but it doesn’t seem to work at all in PvP. I’ll have to see what I can find as a solution because having only a visual indication of this is NOT enough. Especially when you only have 2 WHOLE SECONDS to get out. If I happen to look down or over or across or anywhere but my feet, or maybe I’m CC’d as you know how some classes get locked down (melee).
So in the end… it still a totally CRAP mechanic. Shouldn’t be allowed in PVP and knockbacks should be reduced to almost nothing and should stun instead of throw you across the map. Or just removed altogether because THEY’RE CRAP.

Electric shock can knock you from mage tower to mid in eots. For a melee where do you stand to not get blasted across half the BG?
Purple is bad. Knock backs are easily avoidable and countered.
Now the stuns and silences are in need to nerfing for sure but
Purple teleport and knock backs are fun.
