Hi guys, I just started wow classic a while ago and realize there’s some difference in classic layout compared to retail.
On retail, my character seems much smaller and wider (so I can see more things on the screen like mobs etc), but on classic my character looks much bigger (can’t zoom out further).
Appreciate if anyone know how can I change its settings, tyvm
/script console=SetCVar("cameraDistanceMax", 50)
or
/console CameraDistanceMaxFactor 5
Copy and paste either script into the WoW chat to increase your maximum camera zoom out distance beyond what the slider allows in the interface settings.
Wow, I’m going to try it out soon when I’m able to login my server (Arugal
)
Curious though why did they made us type in scripts when these could be easily included in the game option setting? I understand other addons and stuffs but this is like the most common thing any player would want as a game layout settings, right?
Also, are those 2 scripts the same outcome or is there any better one to use? What’s the max zoom out I could go?
Just googled some YouTube videos and some suggested the max camera view should be set to 3.34 instead of 5? I can’t test it now coz I’m still stuck in queue to Arugal…
