Same for Me with my Mac,
I think is because of the opening video which look mot compatible with the Mac
Anyone Know how to bypass this opening video ?
No opening video for me and same bug, friend…appears to be intel related
My screen is black but the taskbar is flickering. I can hear the general music that plays on the character screen so i know theres no video, but completely black screen. macOS Monterey 12.7.8

Same here on older Monterey 12.7.6 iMac. can hear music, but screen black, some flashing top menu bar thing.
Reloaded entire game - not help.
Has anybody found a fix?
Same issue here! Intel iMac Ventura 13.7.5. Game launches, I can hear music but screen is black and flashes the menu bar.
Other post says put
SET GxCompatOptionalGpuFeatures “0”
in config file

for those who are clueless like myself:
find your WoW folder → retail → WTF → open “Config.WTF” with TextEdit
I scrolled all the way down and created a new line and pasted:
SET GxCompatOptionalGpuFeatures “0”
and then closed it
