Scratching the itch

Ya’ll have any fun games that scratch your WoW itch? I was into M+, raiding and arena. The game is taking turns I’m not into.

Guild Wars 2 has fractals which are kind of like M+ but the healer is also the tank which is an adjustment. However no keystone system so you and your friends can just log on and try whatever dungeon/level you want.

Also Classic WoW has raids but no M+. It has new dungeon modes but the hardest dungeon is like M+4 difficulty

not even remotely close to wow, but I’ve been playing palworld again and having a blast.

Fellowship should offer suitable m+ replacement, not yet released.

They might have a cream for that.

When I get bored of WoW I usually catch up on FFXIV and then realize I like healing in WoW better and then come back. This just repeats over and over again. Ha Ha

Diablo, much better than M+

I play lots of other games. WoW is the game I fall back to when I’m not sure what to play next.

I’m currently playing Lunar: Silver Star Story Remastered and Mischief Makers.

If WoW isn’t doing it for me then I have the following I fall back on.

Diablo 4
BG 3
Grim Dawn
PoE 2 (Though haven’t played since all the controversial changes)

gw2 is not bad at all it’s just the combat is too “stacky&spammy” idk wtf is going on but the fight design in the game are pretty fun.

Tried this on my last hiatus and it wasn’t bad…but it just didn’t itch the scratch for me. The combat left me wanting more. World was beautiful, story wasn’t “horrible” per se, and while the combat was different and simplistic enough, it just wasn’t quite the same.

Thinking i’ll give this an honest go when it comes out.

These worth it in your opinion? I mean obviously, you play them, but would you suggest these as replacements?

BG3 is easily a Hall of Fame tier game - in my opinion its the best ever game in its category

I pretend I’m gonna get back into FFXIV, then instantly remember I don’t care. Played WoW Classic last night though—had a blast.

Hardcore wow.

FromSoft games, classic RPGs, Guild Wars

I used to play more games.

I don’t know if it’s because I’ve gotten older or what, but I pretty much only play WoW now.

I do like Final Fantasy and Skyrim

I will probably play Skyblivion when it’s finally done. Yea, that will be fun for a couple months, after the 10-year development cycle LOL

I played FFXIV for a couple years - it is definitely fun, even if it is a “wow clone” like everybody says.

I usually play WoW to scratch my “collect all the things” itch and “craft the things” itch, but it just doesn’t scratch that itch for me that well anymore.

If you’re interested in games like that, I definitely recommend Fields of Mistria. Especially if you enjoyed Stardew Valley.

Can’t speak to the raiding and M+ side of things, as those I don’t even do in WoW lol.

As far as PvP goes, there’s a game called Supervive that I sometimes hop onto for a few hours. It’s top down like a MOBA, but it is WASD movement, it’s a super fast paced PvP game that kinda scratches a similar itch as WoW PvP. It’s not a direct 1:1 of course but there are many moments in that game at the end of super close fight where my blood is pumping similarly to a close WoW arena match or battleground.
