Scrapping legendaries for Soul Ash?

Wouldn’t it be useful having an option to scrap legendaries for full price of Soul Ash, only losing materials in the process?

Would be a bigger gold sink, since people would be respecing and recrafting their legendaries, while allowing people to respec. Win-win?

I’d be for it. I upgraded Painbreaker Psalm mostly to spite myself, but would probably scrap it for something at least not bugged.

Also, I move we rename Legendaries to Trivialities, as it’s more accurate.

Yeah, my friend is in same situation, unhappy as sub rogue, but doesn’t want to switch to outlaw since his leggo is 225.
So he didn’t play for 2 days now, I’m thinking… such a stupid reason to give up the game.

If he could just scrap his leggo and go outlaw, no issues.
(Outlaw seems to be best for mythic+, while sub is not, esp when you can’t restealth)

It’s not a bad idea, TBH. Although there are some who would say that renders it not legendary,

Yeah priest legendaries are pretty trash. 2 “good” ones, and by good I mean mediocre

Of course it would be useful and save a lot of time. And that’s primarily why Blizzard doesn’t allow it.

If Blizzard doesn’t do something about soul ash and soon they are totally tone deaf. I’m not going to get my hopes up for Diablo if they think this situation is ok.

You shouldn’t get your hopes up for Diablo unless you love Diablo 3.

Agreed. Being able to scrap them would be very helpful.

In like a week or two you could have enough for 2 max lvl legendary. Soul ash is super common and easy to get. Just time gated a bit. Anyone who doesn’t farm it weekly has only themselves to blame. I think everyone could have 2x rank 3 at this point and if not then Tuesday for sure.

Not gonna happen and shouldn’t happen. They aren’t going to make torghast obsolete.

Sure, if you play just 1 spec.

Some classes have 3 specs, and there’s pve and pvp.
So being able to scrap leggo for ash would allow people to craft correct legendary.

I got lucky to have guessed right with mine, but… can you say that for everyone?

It makes no sense you can’t do this already.
