SCRAP heaps need to be immune to toys and portals

People are already trolling SCRAP heap groups in Undermine by dropping various toys and portals on top of the obvious area where you would be clicking to continue digging. This needs a fix ASAP.

Haven’t seen that myself but that sounds super annoying. I hope they do something to stop this behavior before it spreads.

Have yet to encounter it, but nobody tries harder to make the game unplayable than the players

This week have been quite a dud with nothing to do. At least placing toys around makes things somewhat engaging.

Someone casted a mage portal or Jaina’s locket on top of the pile. And the worst part is, while more than half of group got teleported to Dalaran, boss spawned right after and most of us got screwed over.

This is actually very funny lol. Not funny that you guys are losing out on anything, but you have to admire the creativity, and really just the strangeness of it lol

WoW community in a nutshell.

It’s no surprise really.

This thread is giving me ideas

It’s Jainas Locket 99% of the time. As anyone can do that whereas only mages can open TPs. Add a chat-entry to Jainas Locket ā€œsoANDso used Jainas Locketā€ and that’ll stop it right quick, if banning it isn’t an option near piles (or when in raids in general)

I’ve been kicked twice, due to some chucklehead using Jainas locket and the raid screams ā€˜kick all mages’. Super fun.

How they didn’t aura the piles to dismount/ban toys/etc is beyond me. When you get 40people clustered that hard, and then integrate hard-to-click mechanics that force you to use the Interact Key (which you inevitably spam) just to click those hidden green bags but end up in Dalaran randomly? Yeah… recipe for disaster.

The first instance of it happened to be some toy or item that creates one of the larger void portals, and clicking it seemed to send me to some place in Outland or another similar area. I don’t actually ever remember seeing that before, so I can’t name the toy or item itself, but I distinctly remember catching a glimpse of the portal under the crowd of players in the split-second before I’d accidentally clicked it trying to get to the chest.

There is the entire rest of the zone for that.

Annoying? Yes!

Is it a widespread problem that requires intervention? Probably not.
