S.C.R.A.P. HEAP issues

The trash digging event that appears around Undermine is just not fun to do. Between the bugs and lag interfering, it makes it nearly impossible to dig at a reasonable rate. Will the event cancel my shoveling for 4-5 seconds before it spawns the mob you have to kill? Then immediately follows it up with another thing you have to do before you can start shoveling again. 50-60% of the time the shoveling action doesn’t register so I am sitting there like a buffoon trying to start my shoveling again…but wait it took too long now another event spawned that you have to complete before you can shovel again. The ONLY saving grace is the robot you can turn on to assist you but even then its just not enough.

I thought turning the robot on is what triggered the event in the first place? But yeah, they made it pretty annoying…although I think that’s on purpose, since it’s definitely designed to accommodate multiple players due to it being an outdoor event.

No the NPC goblin, can’t remember his name, is who you talk to to initiate the event. The robot you can deposit gold, I believe its like 1, 10, or 100-200, to start him up and he helps shovel. Speed is based on how much gold he has put in him.

Yea, this event is just not worth it at the moment. Even with multiple people doing it, it has never gone past the basic level chest. Too many times everyone is just standing around waiting on heap to be available again. There are no mobs or anything. All you can do is watch the timer tick down and not be able to advance progress at all.

Trying to do this solo even with buying the kola from the robot and having the other robot help you after you paid 100g still feels bad. Even with another person helping, it feels bad because it seems like the even has a change to bug out for them or me, so nothing gets done.

now with the hotfix and scaling with the amount of players its even worse now

Its ok. Its just a mild mini game. It will be in and out. You wont have to do it for to long

So they pushed out some changes
these include but are not limited to:
scaling being broken in smaller groups as it has the same scaling for 40 mans
a very large increase in spawns of random events, bombs, enemies, bags, etc.
Rare spawn still is not consistent for being a chase, doing a tedious activity to chase a mount just isn’t fun when theres way too much going on, for a rare that isn’t even guaranteed nevermind the mount
and this doesn’t include the scrap piles that bug out and become impossible to hit 500/500 due to bomb spawns (golf course & the heap)

the overall experience with SCRAP right now is objectively worse. Please rework these changes

Main Issue I see is the Heavy amount of Downtime on some Heaps and hardly much on others, The longest ive gone without being allowed to participate is over 40 seconds. It was just waves of bombs mobs and those bags and the green knockback stuff.

If Blizzard want a Feature to fall Flat on its Face and Fast this is a great way to do it. There should be a maximum of 15-20% downtime on these Events. Its not like they are that good that you can Mass Farm a crap load of Resources gold etc out of it Seeing as the Rare that Spawns from Hitting 500 Which is a Rare case at the moment has a low chance to drop One Mount and I also saw that Cosmetics are able to drop from doing these so far I have seen 0 so they must be semi low chance as well. And for the Dented Kasa Cola Cans Currency which you need 333 of to purchase the Container that can drop the Other mount but mostly contains Crystals and Valorstones and gold is also not a Reason to have S.C.R.A.P Heaps this poorly designed.

I do hope come wednesday they calibrate that event Better so when you arrive in the last quarter of the bar that counts down and you are unable to Participate should be gone. We can only Hope.

A hotfix on the rate the rare spawns is the only thing that needs to be fixed.

I don’t see any point in even trying to dig. It won’t let you dig more than about 2 seconds before stopping you. I have no idea who designed this, but it’s one of the worst designed events I’ve ever seen.
