So a topic on one of the discords im in came up, about the SCP Foundation but in WoW. So happens that’s a fun idea, considering WoW is already inherently magical and filled with monsters that would make the SCP list any day.
What do you think could be worthy of filling the containment chambers of a Warcraft SCP foundation?

So quick question, nothing important, but what is a SCP foundation?
I never understood SCP.
I don’t get it. All I remember is watching TheRadBrad play some iteration of it a million years ago with the dude that you can’t blink at.
Tl;dr: A large scale project of many writers creating obscure, occult, destructive, horrific, and/or exciting anomalous entities. It’s all written in the guise of a mysterious Foundation. Their motto is “Secure. Contain. Protect.” Thus, SCP.
There are many other fictional organizations, civilizations, religions, and other related things within the world of SCP.
Haven’t we had multiple dungeons serving as mass containment units for fiendish creatures? We even visited the same one twice.
I don’t know what SCP but I know what MIB is and there’s a GIB on the server who tried to mind wipe me with the selfie camera.
They really have the misfortune of failing on a routine basis.
The idea of a creature so powerful as to require being contained that was not immediately hunted down and killed for loot boggles the mind.

Isn’t this what the Violet Hold is, essentially? A holding place for creatures so dangerous that even the world’s best mages can only hope to contain them instead of defeating them. VH Foundation, anyone?
And it gets broken into, twice.
Honestly, for all the fun and creepy SCP entries there are, you have to wade through 150 or so really mediocre greatest threats to life, the universe, and everything. It gets less Internet Creepy Pasta and more “My OC Goku can beat up your OC Goku.”
So much for that, huh.
The forums continue to baffle me.
It’s a fun idea, but seriously…what would we put into containment that we haven’t already punched repeatedly in the face until candy fell out of it?
The only thing I can think of is the Dwarf made of diamonds that claims to speak to the creature that lives in our planet’s core. Unfortunately, he’s a Quest NPC.
I suppose if we were to have this work in the setting it would be prudent to focus more on the weird rather than the overtly dangerous. Not every SCP is some world destroying threat after all, some just do peculiar things…or are peculiar things; like that gender switching rock I half remember. Granted that is technically still dangerous, just not ‘will probably destroy the world if left unchecked’ dangerous, but I digress…
This is a good idea, a collection of strange objects that are novel and currently unexplainable fits more with Warcraft than the Keter level monster containment side of SCP. Artifact vaults like the ones we visit for some of the artifact quests, and the people tasked with guarding them. Or messing with the artifacts for research purposes. …Or just for amusement.
