I see starting quest on scouting map via mission table for Stormsong Valley. I click on it and it zooms in to give me details of the quest. When I click accept, nothing happens. Quest just zooms back out and disappears. Here is what I have done so far: disabled all addons, deleted my WTF and cache folders, and ran the Scan and Repair tool on the launcher. Nothing works so far. I am out of ideas. I'd like to start this zone the proper way at the beginning with a family member but cannot seem to get it no matter what I do. I even tried logging in to the game on their computer to make sure it wasn't anything to do with my system (since they could get quest and I couldn't) but no luck. Will have to resort to doing quests outside of the initial starting zone I guess to get my rep up to advance my War Campaign. Any ideas??? One last thought, the scouting map for me in the Harbor Master room is completely blank and non-interactive for me as well.

I fixed it.
I had the same issue.
I had clicked the bread crumb quest to start the Tiragarde Sound, but hadn't handed it in. Turns out not finishing the first quest blocked me from starting the next zone.
I went back finished the boat ride, and was now immediately able to start the Stormsong Valley quest line.

Well sure enough that worked. Turns out I had taken the ferry quest over to Tirisgarde but left it in my quest log completed but never turned it in. Thanks a million for taking the time to not only post the helpful tip here, but to find me in game and to let me know. Players like you are the true heart and soul of what makes WoW so great :)

I started doing some of the quests in Stormsong after seeing the cutscene for Brennadam on my way through to turn in the turtle people quest for the helm. I saw the Horde invasion happening, grabbed up the quests and I started questing in Stormsong from there. Now I have the last 4 questlines completed and I'm trying to start the first 4 questlines in the Storyline but I can't because the option to start it on the map is gone and I can't speak to Talia about it either. Please someone help!!! I think I boned my main character from ever completing the Stormsong questline!!
I have figured out the answer to my problem. If you start a breadcrumb quest from the map, you have to go to the boatman like it says to, and go to person it says to talk to. THEN and only then can you pick up another quest from the map to the other areas.
