DKs are fine. It’s cringe to see fellow DKs whining for a buff… we’re at a very good spot right now.
Well if you come across any logs of it that you can share I’d appreciate that.
I have it working correctly every time on my end since it got fixed on PTR. So if there’s a case where it’s breaking would be good to get a repro on or at least evidence of.

In the way that it is designed, it is a 2h spec right now in Wrath. If you play the spec as it was designed you would still be A tier. I have barely played my DK in Wrath Classic and its Scourge Strike is already critting for like 5k (physical + shadow). My dk is 186 ilvl for reference.

If the spec functions better as DW (it doesnt) then why does a 255ilvl dk crit for less with a scourge strike than a 186ilvl dk? Its because scourge strike was designed for a 2h, and to get reaping to use scourge strikes. Morb is not the intended playstyle.

If they changed anything with scourge strike it needs to be a healing debuff. DKs desperately need one and scourge strike would probably be the best place to put it, either there or on the gargoyle they nerfed.

Go whine for class buffs on the retail forums and continue ruining that game like yall ruined this one the first time around. Leave wotlk classic alone. You knew what you were getting with the class you decided to play on a 15yo game (you picked the best class, congrats, if you are struggling it is probably a l2p issue).
This is wrong since if we are going based off your logic 2handed UH would be a thing as the game originally had it. DW is an abomination of what the mid max crowd brought to classic. Prob a fair trade is nerf dw so a UH DK can’t duel wield as it was back in 2009 their build.

Some of us want to be able to use a 2 hander competently. Not everybody wants to be forced into DW. It’s a class fantasy thing.
Unholy DKs could just use a 2hander and scourge strike and still be one of the most powerful dps specs in the game.
2h unholy is literally viable. More viable than many specs.

No one is forcing you to do anything. Play how you want to play.
If you’re struggling as a 2h UHDK then it’s player competency issue.
This is a bs argument. Regardless of skill level, no one is going to be happy about you doing less dps. Unless you want to join a really bad casual guild, then they might not care.

Plenty of guilds would take a good 2h DK over an average dw DK. Any casual guild would take a 2h UHDK, because they are casual.
Go whine for buffs on the retail forum, join a guild that matches your playstyle/skill level, and/or l2p.
If it’s a decent guild, you will be pressured into spec’ing DW.

Don’t give into peer pressure, or make them pay your sub.
If a guild is forcing you to play in a way that isn’t enjoyable for you - find a new guild.
This game is old, the content is easy, plenty of guilds will take a good 2h UHDK that shows up prepared and on time.
Whining for buffs because your OP class is slightly more OP with different weapons is ridiculous. And blizz catering to bad players whining on the forums is what ruined WoW to begin with. This is classic, you knew what you signed up for. Stop whining and start playing the game. Or quit and go play something else if it isn’t enjoyable.
