Request to Blizz. Please take lessons learned from the original event. The event was cut short for a reason. It was extremly annoying to most players. It was one of the stupidest events in wow history. The first time it was cut short when it was determined that it was a silly failed event. Now we know that already so please please please make it even shorter. Make it 2 days maximum and even with it shortened, make some changes like not allowing certain vendors to be affected and some key npcs. Like the ah barkers.
Its dumb. Its not fun. It caused players to quit. You already know this. Please fix it. And also, no matter what, please dont let it last into the weekend.
No really. Hyperventilating over a community event that is active over the entire game world that brings players together to combat the madness is one of the most awesome, immersive things Blizzard has brought to the game.
The full timeframe, Blizz. Let the event run. Don’t cave this time. Let the community have this fantastic, wild lead in to Wrath.
No it isnt. You can make up whatever fake statements you want. I know the facts. This already happened and they cut the stupid event short because they also realized how stupid it was.
Its not an opinion its fact. And we dont need to do it again just so ppl like you can see it and end up saying " yeah you were right, this is stupid"
Was there for OG Wrath and was there for both the OG pre-Naxx event in Vanilla as well as in Classic. People were unhappy with the Scourge event in Classic I’ll give you that but Blizz would be wrong and selfish to cave on this.
Facts have data and evidence not anecdotes to support them. You have your feelings which are important to you. As such to guard your feelings, perhaps you can adjust your gaming if you don’t wish to interact with the world and your fellow players during that timeframe that the event is active.
Blizzard, keep the world alive and dangerous. Encourage players to band together and immerse themselves in this world you’ve created. Let the Wrath lead-in event go off as planned for the complete duration planned. Thank you!
It doesnt. It creates just the opposite. Ppl can not interact. The ah basically shuts down.
It is a chance for players to grief each other and thats it. Blizz has always encourages players to be toxic to each other and the majority of players do not like it. It will be obvious this time just as it was the first time. It is a waste if time, stupid event and the majority of the players will just log out. There is no gay social fantasy going to happen.
Why is it always low LVL avatars making these kinds of posts. It’s almost as if they’re retail players that find enjoyment in making the game worse for us.
They dont have to nerf it. Im not askimg for it to be nerfed. The entire thing is so stupid they should just remove it. Skip it. Dont even start it.
They tried it. Good for them. It was stupid and everyone hated it. They cut the event short when they also realized how stupid it was. Again, good for them. Now they know from experience that they are going to start a stupid event that they already know is stupid and almost every player thinks is stupid.
Yeah there are a few ppl that enjoy it. Cause they dont play the game. So standing around in a major city just watching other players and reading trade chat is fun.
Yea! Cant use the auction house, cant vendor or repair anything, cant turn it or get quests, cant que for bgs, cant take flight path. Ohhhhh this is the best event ever. Grow up.
Interestingly the two people riled up in this thread are some of the nastiest forum posters. Never really helpful to others, usually just mean in replies where they do things like name calling etc.
It’s kind of funny to see them mad about this event.
I’m glad Blizzard decided to go through with the event.
I know there are some regular players who like to just do their thing and aren’t fans, but most people are looking forward to the chaos.

I get it doesnt take much to entertian you. You enjoy empty servers because nobody is logging in. You enjoy not being able to play a game because you would rather pretend that you are a zombie. The event is stupid. You would have to be 12 yr old to even want to be a part of it. 12 might be to old even. So yeah. Grow the hell up.
This right here is the reason why I’m not happy about only getting 4 weeks for a pre patch, everybody saying oh it’s plenty of time blah blah blah no it’s not because the scourge invasion is going to hinder people from leveling and I’m talking about the fresh servers.
If the scourge invasion lasts too long that’s going to eat up time leveling because people are going to be running around turning everybody into zombies and you’re not going to be able to get anything done and we already have a lot to do anyway , I have a job and responsibilities I can’t no Life the game for a week.
All this will fall on deaf ears, I think at this point blizzard is just putting out content so people will shut up.
