With this? Because that’s the only thing i found on your comment here that isn’t that.
Because i’m asking you this in general terms when it comes to debating or saying somebody is wrong about something, pro or anti anything. If you’re gonna say that person is wrong, you have to explain it to them where they got it wrong and correct them.
Why you think half of the times, i say “Correct me if i’m wrong”? Because if you think something is wrong, let me know and we will work together to correct it, or allow me to explain more about what i felt with what you felt that is wrong, and it’s more helpful then just not explaining it. And i wager it’s helpful for a lot of people.
I mean say for example, you tell me that PvP needs PvE gear to stay competitive. I tell you are wrong, you ask me why, and i don’t explain to you or tell you i’ve already explained it without telling you each specific post or thread i have said or explained this point in.
If you’re unwilling to explain it or unwilling to point out where you have explained it, then the person has a right to not believe you when you said they are wrong, because you didn’t give them a reason to believe.
Well can you explain it again, so i get to read it so it can cement that in your mind that i have read it then? Heck, i’l even bookmark it to refer to that.
Or if your unwilling to explain it all again, maybe just point out a specific comment or a thread that has this?
Not to mention, i literally just made this thread talking about the plague roaches in PTR like 13 hours ago and it even has a video of me playing PTR. (mainly just to point out the roach weirdness)
If that’s still not playing the PTR, then i can’t help you Ka-blammo. Hmm. Ka-blammo, sounds like a firecracker noise.
I actually read what you wrote and I have no clue what you want me to say here. You seemingly pulled random quotes I made without context and unrelated to whatever is your trying to gotcha me with.
This is one of a dozen ptr zombie threads I’ve posted in over the past three weeks. If you want to look over my post history in those threads, knock yourself out.
So I guess you win because I have no clue what game you’re playing.
Well you told me that i didn’t play PTR and i have no idea how weak the zombies are. Then i bought up those quotes and that thread with a video of me playing in the PTR. If you want, i will gladly record myself playing as a zombie. It would at least bring my YouTube account back to life for like a day before going to dead again.
But all and intents and purposes, i am simply pointing out the opinion i had for the last couple or odd days. If i didn’t played PTR… which come on… I’m a customization option fan, how can i not play on the PTR?.. and didn’t do the event… i wouldn’t know the zombies are weak and i just assumed things would be the same or something bugged out based on your guy’s comments alone without experiencing it myself.
How the quotes i said are unrelated? It relates to knowing about zombies being weak and i even agreed with the people who said it. and how i’m “Gotcha’ing” you?
I know the zombies are weak, infact, they just don’t do enough damage to me in packs of 5 to 8, and i agree you shouldn’t have to survive that many zombies chasing you. 2 or 3 at most, but that’s it, anything more then that, should be a death trap in my opinion.
and here’s my list of fixes for the zombies here:
The cast time for the ghoul explosion should be faster by 50%,
the damage they deal overall should be increased… maybe 15%,
reduce all of their CD’s by 33%,
increase their movement speed by 35%,
decrease the amount of taken taken from the guards by 35%,
as well giving them 2% leech to have a tiny bit of survivability, or a button to make them gain 12% leech for 10 seconds at a 20 sec CD.
decrease the fall damage by 25%.
have it affect Kamidor and Eastern kingdoms as whole and just those two places. (along you can opt-in/out of this event like warmode.)
speaking of Warmode, WM can have 50% more zombies in it and a soft zombie zone cap of maybe around 100 per shard (and doubled on WM); Once it get pasts 100, a random ghoul player/npc explodes.
Have the portal room super strong guards that kill any ghouls that is in the portal room.
And i am keeping all this in mind as well the survivor’s here, try to make it fun for everybody here.
As for dailies… Can i ask why this is a bad thing?.. i mean theirs dailies in almost every pre-patch. I get their nothing special, but they aren’t bad either. I don’t see how it ruins the event, it’s just more content to get some rewards, an incentive to play the content they have… And yes, they need more then just recolored warfront gear and a pet.
I’m not playing any game with you. I’m simply offering my thoughts and explaining my side or arguments. I mean, that’s what everybody does really. Anti Event, Pro event, or anywhere in between.
It’s honestly a shame that you’re leaving this debate because you think i’m doing something bad essentially. I’m not playing any silly game here you’re accusing me of (simply because i don’t even know what game you speak of. i really don’t.) and i’m asking you really simple questions like how is the quotes i pulled up is unrelated? i gave my solutions on making the event better form a zombie perspective without sacrificing the fun of survivors and even agreed with you that zombies need buffing. Heck, you have my permission to correct me if i get anything wrong.
Well… bye then.
I’m going to get me some ice cream and try out more of the PTR zombie event. Come join me with that sometime, it will be a blast. I mean if you want too.
It’s just a debate, a back and forth, it’s nothing complex, evil, malicious, fill in the blank, you like your making it out to be you silly orc.
The original point was you told somebody was wrong without explaining it in that comment, and i told you that you have to explain it. And you told me that you already did but didn’t specify when and where and told me to look at your post history.
It appears the core of the invasion is being lost on some. It was supposed to be an invasion of great import. So yes, have the zombies "inconvenience " the whole player base . Invasions are supposed to be disruptive, some may even say war-like. Stay away from the Faction Capitals (SW/Org) during an invasion. It was supposed to grab you attention and make you focus on the matter at hand. Part of the story, the Lore.
But it is apparent that some would rather focus on their gear grind and ranks, having such stories in the background as a mere nuisance that you may, or may not, pay attention to.
I still have tokens and my Argent War Horn. I will fondly remember the absolute chaos and mayhem the first Scourge invasion. And those who were there may or may not fondly remember. But they do remember. This new invasion? Sounds a lot like something to simply provide the player base something to whap at, keep them mollified for a bit.
Rather anti-climatic and disappointing.
If Blizzard responded as promptly and effectively to serious game concerns as they did to player complaints about the Scourge invasions, how great would that be?
In this case, I’m disappointed. I was looking forward to seeing Azeroth in chaos, to having all that stuff going on that I missed early in the game because i wasn’t playing then. I mean, it’s not like it was set to happen indefinately, it was a phase of the prepatch that would probably have passed fairly quickly. But while it was on, the world would be going mad-nuts, full of threat and sillyness and random acts of chaotic mayhem.
I was really looking forward to it, just to experience it.
You are lucky to got to experience that. It seems the rest of us won’t - so I say thanks those who ranted about it. You’ve robbed us all of something truly amazing.
Trust me, you didn’t miss anything. You log in and you die to a zombie and do nothing but run around as a zombie until another player kills you. It was fun for about 30 seconds and then you want to move on but can’t because it was near impossible to get out of any major city. It really was mayhem and it wasn’t fun at all.
Ayup. Staring at a res timer, constant reinfections with no recourse if you didn’t happen to be within a minute’s travel of an Argent NPC (if there were even any where you were), no chance at fighting back…
It was genuinely pretty great. I remember my guild (Alliance at the time) ghoul-raided most of the locations in the Barrens and Durotar, culminating in an attack on Ogrimmar. (And from memory it was slightly tricky to cover the distance required given ghoul movement speed, so it wasn’t expected.)
Raiding an enemy city is fun, but raiding it as a scourge agent doubly-so.
