Schrodinger's Dilemma

If a Starfleet Redshirt got shot at by an Imperial Stormtrooper would he be alive or dead?

Dead. Those blast points are way too accurate for Sand people. Only imperial stormtroopers are that precise.

…but only when shooting at huge sandcrawlers that have no plot armor.

Against each other? probably a simultaneous double-killshot.

See this is where your question falls apart due to your sentence semantics. Getting shot implies that he was indeed shot by an Imperial Stormtrooper, thus according to the theory of quantum calculus and the law of thermo-nuclear physics the horse’s name was Friday.

The stormtrooper would indirectly kill the red shirt by shooting the ground creating a small hole that the red shirt would trip on and fall down and die from the impact.

Dead, because the stormtrooper would miss the redshirt, but hit something else which kills the redshirt.

How do you know if it is Star Wars or Star Trek! Are they different names for the same thing?

Your theory handling and math is impeccable.

However, to come to the conclusion of Friday, you must have obviously omitted the ‘Sunday Paradox’ which has a permanent word salad net value sum of 3.63 making the Chicken’s name Wendy.
