School starting before release

Do you think it was intentional of Blizzard to release Classic after school starts, to give us some peace and quiet time during the day? I would like to think so because, the start of school (queue music) " Is ….the ……most… wonderful time… of the year". Thanks Blizz :joy::joy::joy:

Being in school and playing WoW was just the same for back in the day.

I never did any homework and would just go home and play WoW in my room for as long as I could before getting parental aggro then i would just do whatever they told me to do and go right back to it.

How many school aged kids do you think will play classic? Id imagine average player age sits around 30 in 2019 for classic.

I do not get why this “kids play WoW” or “Kid gamers suck” is still a meme…

The average age of a WoW Player back then was over 20…

Both of my kids are going to play. 16/20

I started at 14 years out.

How many will skip school and play on release day?

Probably did it so that the servers wouldn’t crash so hard because y’all will be in school when the first AM rush logs in.

Schools still have homework? My niece said she never had homework, all thru high school. So sad. Times have changed.

Also, lots of kids just don’t bother going to school anymore. Truant officers are gone too.

Well back in 2006 we were always given homework, but I just never did it. It was only worth 10% of my grade anyways and all I cared about was earning a D.

Paid for that later though when I had to work my butt off in community college.
