I was clearing Scholomance on my druid. I killed the 6 mini bosses (skipped some of their trash) but Darkmaster Gandling never spawned. I then went back and killed all the trash in the 6 rooms but still no spawn. Is this a bug? Did he not spawn b/c the trash was up when the mini bosses were killed?
Leaving this here because I came looking for an answer when I did the same exact thing. Found this on the wiki - Gandling appears after the six bosses and all human mobs found in the six chambers around the Headmaster’s Study are slain. This means the Adepts, Necromancers, and Occultists on the top right room - the Occultists turn into Dark Shades that are immune to physical damage. You can either let them wack on you forever taking Thorns damage or shift out and kill them with Moonfire and such. I didn’t kill any other mobs that were not chained to the bosses and he spawned upon killing the last Occultist for me.

Are you bringing the talking skull with you throughout the instance?
