Scarlet Enclave is Dope!

Blizzard. The only thing you need to nerf is the Hp to mobs and bosses to tune it better for 20 man. We had a blast raiding last night! The mechanics and damage that they do atleast with the first 5 bosses that I know of, don’t really need to be touched, just the health pool of the mobs and bosses.

The mechanics are fine; health of everything is massively overtuned.

It feels like they expected us to bring 40

They mentioned they had a buff that they could turn on, hoping it doesn’t gut the raid, really enjoy the difficulty of everything rn, I agree the health of adds/trash is the problem.

Your group ran with 30 people for a 20 person raid. Looks like vast majority of your group is full nax BiS. And you spent about 3 hours raiding and killed 1 boss, you didn’t get 2nd boss below 70%.

Your group would need to bring 40 players or blizz to significantly nerf the 2nd boss, or you’re never going to beat it.

There is a massive middle ground between brain dead easy pushover raid and what we currently have. If they cut 2nd boss hp by 50% your group (which is running with 50% more players than the raid is tuned for) still wouldn’t have been able to clear it.

I don’t see why you digging in to our logs matter? We had fun getting blasted by the bosses, the content starts actually fighting back and people cry about it, do i think it’s overtuned in terms of health? absolutely, do i expect the buff to absolutely gut the fights by making them 30 second encounters where the bosses do nothing and can’t fight back and turn in to loot pinatas again? absolutely.

They could increase all players damage by 100% tomorrow and the 2nd boss still wouldn’t be cleared by 9/10 guilds that run 20 people. That is just how overtuned it actually is.

I check logs because most of the people saying the raid doesn’t need nerfed haven’t even attempted it yet. Your group did actually attempt and you guys got absolutely stomped by the 2nd boss despite running with 50% more players (nax geared too) than what the raid is supposed to be tuned for.

I’m happy you guys enjoyed wiping for 3 hours to beat 1 boss and get the 2nd down to 70%. With no changes, next week you might get him down to 50%. And then in 1 month of prog, you guys might finally beat the 2nd boss of the raid.

It’s because children wants instant gratification, and if they don’t complete the task day 1, they riot and flood the forums with whiny posts. We know there will be clear strategy’s on youtube within a week as well as weakauras and dbm updates that plays for you… but let’s cry after 3 hours. Got it

I don’t think anyone can disagree the raid is overtuned, if they disagree they haven’t tried beatrix.

We don’t like having people sit out so we invite whoever wants to raid, sometimes we hit 20, sometimes we hit 30, it’s just how we raid(I do wish target dummies existed for some of them to practice tho xd)

People are clearly expecting the buff to be turned on, what the buff does we’ll see, the solution to the raids difficulty is a normal mode for the 30s loot pinatas classic players are used to with an optional hard mode for the current scaling.

I’m more worried they’ll just go at it tuning wise like they did with ST and completely ruin the health/damage of enemies in the raid.

This is a version of classic wow. No children are playing this game. The average player is in his mid 30’s.

We know blizz will nerf it because anyone that has actually attempted the raid can see the hp values are obviously overtuned.

If they don’t nerf, these clear strategies will be:

  1. bring 40 people to a 20 person raid
  2. discover and use some bug
  3. stop attempting the second boss and just do the first every week until blizz nerfs the raid

They over nerfed the ST eranikus hp but it still didn’t ruin the raid. I did that raid every single lockout on multiple characters and there were several weeks I saw where a pug couldn’t clear eranikus after the nerfs and fell apart.

This raid has so much room between what it is currently and brain dead easy pushover that it should be very easy to land in a good middle ground. I felt nax HM4 with 20 people was a very good level of difficulty
