Scarlet Crusade Reborn/Rebuilt?

I am curious as to whether or not the independent scarlet guilds would be interested to rejoin the original Scarlet Crusade. As I have told even the members of the Scarlet Dominion there is no price to be had over the name, however it could be said within reason that if you combine the commanders for each of the more noticeable SC guilds you could operate with a more resounding force plus you would stand out more.

Not to mention it would be a more impressive feat with a display of 30+ crusaders each under their commander as the forefront to a cause or event. Originally, I had the idea of the SC leading the charge against the Jailor in SL but that never happened.

Just hear me out on the idea. The Scarlet Conclave, Embers of the Flame, The Scarlet Reclamation. Scarlet Dominion, and any force of an acceptable number as the heads of their unit still operating under one banner. Each commander would have authority only on those under their unit but still work in tandem with the other commanders depending on the situation. Each would be officially a <Scarlet Crusade(r)> under the guild name and title.

While one unit may be more devoted to the original zealot cause, or another unit may be devoted to dealing with the scourge head on, wouldn’t it be more extraordinary to have the full might of the SC restored. Each commander working as a council and every issue being voted upon. Having one leader makes people lose interest and phase out over time. Having a council of leaders to discuss and vote keeps things interesting, the only question is if the leaders are willing to be flexible. Not my way or the highway.

I merely wish to mediate the guild in order to keep the peace, and to ensure the name isn’t branded as a joke or a thrill for some but a real name to be respected and cautious of. I saw how fast the SC died out in Cataclysm. SC was a phase that people got bored of real fast after the quests were removed.

Think of the events that could play out, SC assaults against undead forces in Northrend, SC forces called to quell disasters caused by the re-emergence of the Heartsbane Coven in Drustvar. And the SL is far from over, as there are still other ‘commanders’ in the Maw to deal with. Lastly there is still the manner in which the SC goes to trial. When has there ever been a full MG server trial. The People vs the Scarlet Crusade. If you are someone who loves Law & Order or any other shows like that, I’m sure it would make for a decent event.

Ive personally seen the Scarlet Dominion, most of its members Mythic raid pros. Call in the Marines with their unit if you want quick and painless. The Scarlet Reclamation i would say is the bulk/army. Call in the troops if you want display of force. Embers of the Flame Ive seen many priests, and the Scarlet Conclave Ive yet to observe but i can let them decide what they represent.

I would ask that you think on the idea at the least.

And we could use a rival force of undead for the SC to take on. DnD style or Tarren Mill if you prefer more carnage and action.

OR, here me out: you have a discord community for those who want to keep guild autonomy for a million valid reasons and use an in-game community for communication? I’m pretty sure there is part of that already in place.

Scarlets have a long history of bad actors running around Stormwind and being cringe. There is zero reason to risk the hard work the long-standing and solid Scarlet guilds have put in by being under the same tag with that kind of risk.

There already is a Scarlet Crusade discord server for that that’s made up of other Scarlet guilds.

I think it’s run by some peeps from Embers of the Flame, Scarlet Dominion and Scarlet Conclave.

Wait… there is? I’m in two of those guilds and I’ve never heard of this server.

I’ve had members from all 3 guilds send me letters requesting to purchase the original guild name so i figured a more direct solution.

It is merely an idea, not a requirement, to a compromise so that these plus other guilds don’t become phased memories. Its not about achieves or recognition. Just a better community with everyone on the same level.

I have no intention of letting people ruin the image of the Scarlet after what i saw in Cataclysm.

Rule 1 is that no Scarlet Crusader should be roleplaying in Stormwind in the first place, unless in disguise.

There are two, actually :3 Scarlet community discord servers. Send me a dm on discord and I’ll shot you an invite! My discord is just Aeralin.

We’ve tried many times to do many unifications of guilds. Hell, that’s how the Embers came about. The Brigade and the Crucible. There was a third at the time but they were found to be… heretical :3

Usually we do this all through discord or communities as unifying under 1 guild with that many guild leaders could get very messy, very fast. Too many cooks in the kitchen. Too many ideals, rules, morals, etc. but yes! We have two set communities currently. One with all the scarlet guilds welcome, and one with those ICly willing to work cohesively with the Embers. We understand not all scarlet guilds see eye to eye ICly and some will not be willing to work with others but it’s neat to have everyone in one spot oocly.
We could still easily do a show of force- 20-30+ at one event. We could get all the guilds together for a lot of things. Just gotta get everyone on the same page

I hate how everyone tells me that Vishas cant be a worgen despite his revival for the Brawl Pit. Personally i enjoy the use of my natural claws to shread, tear, and rip my enemies. So much more satisfying than using tools.

Because Vishas is an official lore character created by Blizzard and by their lore he is not a worgen.

Technically by their Lore he was killed by players, mysteriously revived with no explanation to be a Brawler. Killed again.

Blizzard is rather open minded about a character.

Perhaps he was bitten in the arena by a worgen opponent, cursed, and now lives as such. It adds to the ferocity and viciousness of the idea.

Roleplaying a lore character is generally frowned upon. Because what if I want to suddenly say I am Vishas? Or I want to say ‘Vishas did this or that’ and you don’t agree with me? It’s just not a good idea.

Oh oh, I was not aware of this. My scarlet character is not (yet anyway) in a guild. I’d love to be part of discord communities. Could I also DM you for an invite?

The problem with that is people monopolize lore names because its a prize others can’t have. They never use the names but they hold them like collector cards. It’s not a bad idea to use the names a a child or descendant though.

I personally vouch I would love to have united Scarlet guilds (the zealous ones not the Joseph the Awakened and Crimson Pilgrim and definitely not the Raleigh the Devout kind) where we unified the Scarlet Crusade based on the original rank and structure and filled it in with our officer core perhaps. (A High General, Highlord, Grand Crusader, Grand and High Inquisitor, Champion, Scarlet Oracle, Master Cannoneer, Grand Admiral, High Abbot/Archbishop, etc.)

Would also love to interact with any other Scarlet guilds had a great experience with a Scarlet Dominion member and hoping to extend that to others like the Embers and Conclave.

If y’all would accept the Reclamation in y’all’s Discord we’d love to be apart of it. Just because we’re different guilds don’t mean we can’t interact under the unity of the Flame we have a lot of external influences trying to divide us or trash us so it would be nice to show them we got some unity.

I do appreciate your compliments towards all of our guilds though and hopefully we can make something awesome with the Scarlet community would love to do some collaboration with any legit Scarlets and not whacky Scarlet renegades. Not everyone can be a hero gotta have some villains in the mix.

Plague barrels? BET! That sounds a lot better than starving us to death and feeding us Laced Pumpkins. Save those for those good for nothing Dwarven Mountaineers and leave the good zealots of Lordaeron out of it!

We as the Crusade have came together and decided we have 3 demands beforehand:

  1. No more feeding us Laced Pumpkins
  2. We refuse any of Johaan’s Special Drinks. Save those for the Dwarven Mountaineers.
