I realize some of the loot is being reworked in the Scarlet Monastery but how cool would it be to see a return to the Monastery or even another zone (cough eastern plague lands). I know the Scarlet Crusade is a fan favorite of a lot of players and it doesn’t matter if it’s Stratholme or the Enclave area, it would be amazing! Let’s see more of that amazing red and silver/white armor! Along with some weapons and shield 
with Lorderon logo (it’s already in the game) etc. what’s your thoughts! Let’s get some hype going for one of the best factions in the game!

I mean I’m pretty sure they are going to do something like this.
A Scarlet Raid was teased at Blizzcon. Everyone assumed it would be SM. But with SM being accessible next phase (when Gnomer wasn’t in P1) it’s clearly not going to be SM for P3, and probably not at all.
However this I could see them doing.
They did say they willing to revisit old unused areas from Vanilla and I can’t think of many better places to be turned into a new raid than Tyr’s Hand.

Totally agree man. Just don’t want SM being there only stab at it, I’ve heard that the Armory and the Cathedral are restricted, and there’s an old map of the Monastery they never used, so I have my suspicions. Never the less 100% agree there needs to be something

It’s probably going to be Stratholme, which is already a raid-sized instance, and has Scarlet mobs.

So break Strattholme into 2 instances? Or flat out turn it into a raid?
Because Stratt as a 3 day lock out ngl would be probably a great idea but so long as Argent Dawn rep is increased in there.
Tyr’s hand wasn’t unused. It’s a spot for a major questline with a prebis reward at the end. It’s also excellent for farming and far too small for a stand-alone raid.
Are you thinking of Hearthglen in Western Plaguelands with the Tirion questline? Tyr’s Hand is in Eastern Plaguelands south of LHC.
It could still be Scarlet Crusade in P3. Theres several scarlet places to go. Has anyone been to Tyrs hand in epl? Has anyone been to the scarlet outpost in wpl? Its also possible they make a new raid entrance somewhere at the cathedral. Has anyone run around behind SM?

I doubt if they did Tyr’s Hand it would be P3.
I suppose this is possible.
Blizzards recent interview makes me skeptical about the possibility SM raid. They said they want to ensure the play space feel epic and accommodating for 10 players, not cramped.
SM is very cloistered. And they don’t really have a guy on their team making new maps so they have limited options when it comes to this. Could be wrong of course and we still may get an SM raid but I’m just not so sure as I used to be before this interview and before the datamining.

I hope they utilize the EPL area. They could even import the area of the map that they used in the wotlk dk starting zone to expand it .
The only raids we didnt get so far that was teased at blizzcon are kara crypts and SM. Gnomer was teased and its happening. It will be interesting to find out we cant do armory or cath next phase.

I do think they’re willing to do some new maps as they teased the Kara Crypts. But I doubt they’d do more than 1 or 2 completely new things as that’s a lot of development time.
I think your idea of them adding a 5th instance is more likely than Armory/Cath as all 4 wings of SM are technically the same instance and all share a lockout ID. Changing 1-2 to a raid would affect all of them.

Those assets already exist.
They do, but there’s also lots of SM stuff that’s not completely cramped that just need to be spliced together. Cathedral’s courtyard and well the Cathedral itself, they could just copy paste it to Tyr’s Hand.
Strath was originally intended to be run as a 10 man raid. You were supposed to fight though it to Naxx.
Similar to BRD and MC.

Back in ye olde olden times, a lot of those end game dungeons were run as 10 mans already. At least on Kel’Thuzad.
Let me say I’d be happy to be wrong as I think we are long overdue for a Scarlet Crusade raid, I’m just looking at the bones as they’ve been rolled and the signs are pessimistic.
