Hunters are able to cast Scare Beast on Shamans in Ghost Wolf form. This must mean, like Druids, they are shapeshifting out of a humanoid form. Why exactly, if they’re being treated the same in this regard, are Druids immune to Poly when they shift, but Shamans are not?
Ghost Wolf is in a grey area and I’m not sure what it’s considered. Is it a beast? Is it a humanoid in spectral form? It has to be the most outdated ability in the game. It offers no protection now that azerite traits are gone, you can’t heal in it, you can’t dps in it. This is a huge nerf for Shamans in PVP. Mobility is already an issue in Arenas, and now Shamans have to worry about Hunters fearing them on a 1.4 sec cast timer with no cooldown.

Why does it make any sense that a shaman entering a spiritual ghost wolf form suddenly gets treated like a common animal that can be scared by hunters?
Druids can also cast hibernate on us in ghost wolf too right?
As if druids weren’t bad enough in that they are immune to our CC (hex), while also being able to dispel it of others (remove corruption).
And they get cyclone back baseline too. Which is a different DR (disorient) category than hibernate (incap).
Ghost Wolf gets every negative with very little positives.
Its annoying.

This is basically the Shaman philosophy in all things; the worst half of things from several different classes is somehow expected to make us whole.

Make it such that we can be in Wolf and channel lasso … will help hugely in positioning and will give us get the 4 stacks needed for full damage reduction .
