Scanning loop

Whenever i try to play the game, it asks me to update, it starts scanning the game and when it reaches 100%, it briefly says “Updating”, but then it loops back to Scanning.

I’ve tried deleting a bunch of .idx files, deleting Blizzard related folders in %LOCALAPPDATA%, %TEMP…, Deactivating any security related software on my PC and it’s no use

I’d really like to not have to download the game again as it takes me up to a week to download :frowning:

I restarted the PC and re-opened Battle.Net (Which i have already re-installed), It started scanning the game when i hit Update and when it finished scanning, it gave me the “Whoops! looks like something broke. Give it another shot” error again. It shows the “Update” button

How are you connected to the internet? Sounds like a possible connection issue

Did you ever get it to fix?

I ran into this issue recently after trying to repair the game. I removed Bnet, temporary files, and all of the WoW files—including addons/their data after backing up my UI—and then reinstalled. It’s been great since then.

same thing happens to me, they need to get this fixed, been 3 days now, you also need to have a phone number where people can actually call . this contact support service you have is a scam. fix the problem.
