I tried a scan and repair to see if it would fix another issue I’m having with the game and after 9-10 hours overnight it was only at 47%.
I gave up and uninstalled the game and trying a fresh reinstall.
Any idea what may be causing such a slow scan/repair?
I checked all my security and antivirus stuff to the best of my ability to see if anything is interfereing but I really have no idea.
One thing to note is my laptop has a hybrid drive with the OS on the SSD and the game files on the HDD. I checked perfomance of the D drive (HDD) under task manager and it goes up to 100% active time when scanning preventing me from doing much else as it slows down my computer too much. Whether or not that’s relevant I don’t know, sorry I’m not very tech savvy.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
