I got a message in game from someone claiming to be a blizzard gm stating that there is a in depth investigation of an “abnormal account” then its telling me to go to a website to confirm me being the original owner of the account or my account will be suspended.
im pretty sure its a scam but just thought id post

An actual Blizzard GM will pop up as blue and indicate that you’re getting a chat from a GM.
Purple is just a regular whisper from a troll/scammer.
