Scaling will NOT be fixed

This new scaling debacle will not be fixed. Since blizzard started reporting on play time vs subs (wonder why?) they need player engagement.

So if you are farming for old mogs, mounts, achievements…now you are required to party up. This equates to more play time and underlines their bottom line.

To be fair at the end of the day if enough people unsubbed it may make an impact. However, sub numbers are propped up by the Asian market that live on selling runs , gold, bots, etc. so I doubt even a sub dip would help.

Logically speaking why would they change a behavior that forces your play time to increase?

Five people doing something angrily and together does not contribute more to time played than five people doing something happily and independently.

Pre SL though I could go clear most raids on my Main in less that 15 minutes.

Now I have to find a group or people, make sure they know the strats, and we all have to get there…That 15 minutes for 1 person just got extended to up to an hour or more for 5 people.

And then once we all fail on the first boss, HARD, none of the players are willing to try it again, meaning that the time spent is once @ one hour vs weekly @ 15 minutes.

I thought making a mythic Ny’alotha pug would be just like making a mythic Antorus pug was at the start of BfA. Nope! I might not even try it until 10.x
