i’ve been trying out the sba for midnight on regular quest mobs and a few follower dungeons.
but i (Balance) can’t seem to pull more than a 3rd of what the tank is doing in terms of dps. quest mobs are also taking their time to die. i heard the sba is about 30% less that optimal rotation. but it feels like i’m missing something really big, and help is appreciated.
i’ve tried feral and getting similar results.

Are you similarly geared to the players you’re comparing yourself to? You can’t really mess up the obr/sbr, but if your gear is way below everybody else’s, of course you’re going to do less damage.
i can’t get more that 15k on any fight in open world
Single Button Assist suffers from serious brain fart. It will often pick an ability, especially dots, that are already ticking on the targets with plenty of duration. For my druid it gets stuck on wanting to spam moonfire. On my Warrior it always gets stuck on wanting to apply rend over and over.
Sometimes, rarely, it will pick for example on my warrior rend, then the SBA button will show a cooldown timer while it waits for rend again instead of picking anything else.
It’s possible there is a conflict with the Action Targeting system and SBA.
So far SBA and Assist Highlight this expansion is near unusable for most classes.
I dont think sba uses cooldowns over a certain CD timer, and boomy is pretty cooldown reliant, along with needing some proper setup for burst that it might not being doing for you.
I think boomy is also kinda hast heavy (havent checked much this season) and haste heavy specs suffer even more from the gcd penalty.
