Cataclysm was the best expansion. and I am being dead serious about it. I loved Lich King but Cataclysm was dialed in. I loved Firelands. I didn’t like spine of deathwing fight but dragonsoul was still fun. Characters were fun to play too. Also you have to admit. The cinematic trailer for Cataclysm was the best one.
Well have I got good news for you: You can play it again right now by downloading Cataclysm Classic!
I respect your opinion
Its wrong (Wrath and MoP were better, Cata’s an overall middle of the pack expansion and you can feel the rushed development in some areas, the fact you’ve only mentioned Firelands and Dragonsoul along with not mentioning Twilight says a lot), but I respect your opinion
It all boils down to preference. So telling someone they’re wrong cause you don’t agree is pure ignorance.
Doesn’t have monk. 0/10 trash expansion.
There was some ok stuff there in hindsight but WotLK was a tough act to follow. And at least for me it kind of set up an expectation that it’s like…ok cool, EK and Kalimdor will be dynamic areas that get updated through the years; that didn’t happen, and now you have a giant narrative mess in the OG gameplay areas which I imagine adds to the confusion of new players
I find your lack of MoP fanboying disturbing.
Cataclysm is where Goblins became playable so we can at least agree there.
my warlock was a goblin in Cataclysm. Those rocket jump racials were great for breaking a fall when people knock me off the hill at lumber mill in Arathi Basin.
Goblins are a huge draw. I know the goblin playerbase make up less than 5% of WoW’s demographic but the game would have been incomplete without them.
