Edit: I was able to get a fortune again now after running around in game for some hours. It could be someone hotfixed the timer so it only runs down while you’re logged in. Might be helpful if the had a visible debuff timer like we had for kissing winter veil people at winter veil time.

It seemed like the wowhead info about it being a 4 hour timer was accurate for awhile. I got half a dozen or so fortunes - the first being a quest, the rest just random sayings. Once or twice, I got a fortune/buff, logged off a long time, came back and got another fortune/buff that replaced the previous buff I still had on even, so seemed like the 4 hours was counting down even while logged off.
Now it’s been on the order of 16 hours and the guy’s not letting me get any fortunes. Is this a bug, or some mechanic I don’t know about?
