M raid on 1st weak>Ultimates
HKey>Ultimates
Oh, I see, I’m dealing with a fanboy.
That’s an objective reality. High keys in WoW are the hardest content that exists in any MMO.
There isn’t a single activity in GW2 that I find interesting.
I also don’t like the visuals in GW2.
That sounds a lot like your opinion.
hard to tell. some of the “used to try to compete” mmos were pretty good even if they abandoned the fight. always wonder what some of those would look like with 20 years behind the belt.
youre praising the tyrant that killed everything and then sat on his throne slackin ![]()
some competition would be great, so he gets back on his toes.
a lot of these would-be-competitors drop the ball early or manage hype very poorly.
they love to announce themsleves too early and let the hype drop to zero.
that’s not the way.
That’s my opinion.
Precisely
Zepla went full mental after not being able to clear one of the previous Ultimates. Her opinion is based on pure emotion, not any actual logic.
A slump like it has had multiple other times. People literally thought the game was going to die in Heavensward due to lack of content but if you ask anyone today, it’s one of the greatest expansions the game has ever seen.
I could easily argue FF14 is in a healthier state than WoW currently. Every single patch they release is new content. Every. Single. One. Meanwhile WoW is a single raid, multiple dungeons from previous expansions, and a copy/paste expansion that you can run through at an accelerated rate but isn’t even part of the base game lol.
Don’t even get me started on the gutting of classes in WoW starting next expansion. The only thing Blizzard is good at is gaslighting the playerbase into thinking the game is full of new content when most of it is copy/paste nonsense. They are so good at it that they have people actually thinking Midnight is launching with 3 full raids lol. Heck, they are actually removing pet battles for the people that liked that too.
Say what you want about FF14, but at least I’ll be able to hit more than 4-5 buttons over there compared to WoW starting in Midnight.
RIP Fire Mages.
WoW is currently trying very hard to get rid of anything not casual/easy atm.
The fire mage thing is a meme but it’s every spec in the game. They aren’t gutting the classes because of button bloat, they are gutting the classes because they KNOW their addon replacements are going to be subpar.
Oh for sure, they already don’t have a good track record. After hearing about how many people are doing the UI, Blizzard are backing themselves into a corner.
Yes, yes it has lol. WoW has had multiple low points, the lowest being WoD imo.
FFXIV has had fewer low points overall, but it was really only a matter of time until they finally hit a snag. Their biggest issue is a lack of innovation, which is exacerbated by the awful framework that the game is built on. And Square Enix doesn’t seem to have their priorities straight, given how little resources they’re willing to put towards FFXIV despite it being the company’s biggest money-maker over the last few years.
On top of that, SE stopped inviting her to events after she started (rightfully) criticizing the game. That soured me big-time towards Yoshi P and team. Zepla has loved and supported FFXIV for YEARS. Players, including content creators, should be able to voice their discontent without fear of being punished by the devs simply because they don’t like what people have to say.
What events? Nearly everything they do is in Japan. The only thing that isn’t is FanFest and thats not until next year lol.
I can’t remember what it was. It may not have been an in-person thing, but just some kind of online event or promo that FFXIV streamers were invited to participate in. I just remember her talking about being snubbed when normally she would have been included.
So nothing, got it lol.
Ironically, I always accused WoW of not investing enough back into the game, which was absolutely true for the longest time. I still think for the size of the games population we should get Legion level of class content each expansion, but the content cadence is at least now what a successful subscription based MMORPG should have.
FFXIV needs to figure out how to get on board now too because the bar has been raised
If someone is crying over a video game, they have real issues. In no way is that normal behavior for any adult.
Really? Because people are crying constantly on these forums lol
