Hey Guys,
Just dusted off my priest and wanted to make a PI macro that doesnt annoyingly whisper the target but instead just /say my helpful target is PI’ed.
I have:
#showtooltip
/cast Power Infusion
/say Power Infusion -> %t
But the problem with this is if im targeting an enemy it also announces this. Is there anyways to only have it say when i targeted an ally?

Personally I wouldn’t worry about any notifications for it. If they actually care to be alerted then they most likely have their buffs tracked. If you’re using it whenever you feel like it, and haven’t coordinated with the receiving player in advance, then whomever you use it on most likely won’t have their cd’s available for it since they probably cooked them off as the situation came.
When I’m on my spriest I use it on myself. When I’m healing it goes to the highest dps or Druid (resto or balance). I typically let that player know at the start of the instance. I don’t run with randos often but when I do I make an educated guess for the first use and then adjust.
Just my 2 cents. I know there was another post on this same topic I read last week, and it seemed a lot of the people said that getting whispers or other chats about PI really bothered them.
