Is this bugged? Widow whatsherface doesn’t offer me this quest, although she’s supposed to. Or maybe it’s a rep thing? I’m still only acquaintance.

Same here, I’m acquaintance too. I’ll get to the next level and see if the quest is offered.
Edit: I’ve got to Renown 5 and got “Crony” with The Weaver. Now she is offering the quest.

I’ve been extremely frustrated. From what I can find online, there is supposed to be an intractable cage around spindle that you are supposed to “free” him from. However, there is no cage, intractable or not, around him. I’ve flown away and back, I’ve dropped the quest and re-grabbed it, I’ve restarted the game, reloaded the UI. Nothing seems to be working or changing…

I ended up getting this quest completed by finding a random ! over in that zone forget the name of it off the top of my head where the guards kick you out if they catch you.
I can’t click the cage. If I fly away I can see the cage, but it disappears when i try to interact with it. It isnt visible at all when in the building. It phases between two zones. If im in one zone i can see it. When i enter the other zone it disappears.
