The root must have broken then. Idk. I was dead inside the beam before i could react and so was my healer.

Whats stopping them from rootbeaming the pet tho or just rooting it out his los and then convoking. The problem here is that you cant stop every convoke and the spell has the potential to do far too much damage in the span of 1 second

It could use tweaks (could use/=/need) for consistency. I can agree that the reaction times required aren’t always the same and when moon is in play is when the problems really start for people. Remove moon from pvp and I bet all issues go away.
But yes, they misplayed. I mean it’s plain and simple. How do you explain better players that have like… never or very very rarely died to it? Why is it that I’ve only died once to a convoke in my hundreds and hundreds of games and yet people like you die constantly seemingly? There is a reason. You just don’t like hearing it.

Its the fact that it exists at all and can rob ppl of games through no fault of their own is whats wrong. Even when i do what im meant to do, interupt it as fast as humanly possible and my partner still dying. You need to stop with your back handed “it needs tweaks but…” replies
The whole interrupt it as fast as possible isn’t always the right thing to do. Like… sometimes it is easier to just line.
Its much better to stop it rather than make sure everyone within range can line it. What if you arent all hugging a pillar at that time?

The situation your describing is so absurdly rare is my point. I don’t even know how many times I’ve insta mooned someone for a W. It just doesn’t really happen. I’m with you that it shouldn’t happen ever is a thing but so long as “procs” or crit or any % based thing exists, that can always happen. UA dispel crits. Divine toll with crits. Procs and chance are part of the game. Now again, I agree convoke specifically can use tweaks. I do I promise I do.
But what I’m trying to say is that I’m not advocating for convoke’s perfect design. I’m much more interested in calling out people’s made up stories and exaggerations because frankly, that’s what they are. And if the stories aren’t fabricated, they usually just played super wrong. Like it’s okay to not play it correctly and die. I don’t play perfectly at all. But I’m not the type of person who runs to the forums or anywhere and b’s and moans about it. I get motivated to get better. Seems like most people here would rather nerf anything that gives them resistance. It’s easier to blame outside sources vice one’s self.
