Save yourself bag space

…And delete your hearthstone.

I’m not joking! If you have a hearthstone toy learned, just delete your hearthstone, it’s just taking up a bag slot.

I’ve been doing this since they introduced hearthstone toys, and while 1 bag slot may not seem like a lot, it’s still nice.

I typically put mine in my bank so I don’t have to deal with deleting a new one ever time I set my hearth location XD

I can’t do it. The hearthstone has been in the same top left slot of my backpack since I started playing.

It feels unnatural to move it or not have it there, even if I don’t use it

That works too!

Nah. Have 140+ bag slots. It’s plenty of space. If I’m super worried about that 1 extra slot, it’s time to find vendor or visit the AH/bank.

First time I started playing the game, some players (warlocks) invited me to a team and asked if I’d like to earn some free levels and gear in their raid. I was thrilled and said yes! They said I’d need plenty of bag space however, and told me to delete my hearthstone, which I did (and then some).

I saw something pop up asking if I wanted to be summoned to where they were, so I clicked the “yes” option, and found to my dismay, that I was at the bottom of the deepest water I’d ever been in. I first didn’t know what was going on, until I realized they weren’t going anywhere for me to follow. And I was running out of air.

I tried swimming to the top, died, had to swim back down to my body, revive, and continue doing this until I got up to the top where I found some small island. I had no idea where I was, I had no gold, no hearthstone, and no idea how to get back let alone see land. I remember trying to swim in 1 direction, and fatigue would start, and I’d have to go back.

This was back in Wrath. I was level 15. It was my second character I had ever made (had to delete the first one because I got lost in Undercity and couldn’t find my way out, so I was really frustrated at this point), and had to delete it.

Ever since then, I’ve NEVER given up my hearthstone again LOL. Nice try OP.

Do not delete your hearthstone if you don’t have a backup! You MUST get the toy haha. Otherwise, you’re stranded.

it’s just one slot. one slot will never make or break anything…

good idea to be honest, even if you do delete it, once you make a new home, you get it back, so no consequence if you delete it should blizz decide to disable the toys

It’s a sentimental thing :frowning:

Exactly. I’ll never use the toy version of the Hearthstone and I do have a few.

I lost my WoD garrison and don’t know how to get it back. Or is it just gone anyway?

You’ll take this useless rock when you can pry it from my cold dead hands! In which case good luck because I will have glued it to my cold dead hands.

Sorry but I’m keeping my hearthstone in my bags, right next to my legion hearthstone and garrison hearthstone.
Space isn’t that much of a premium unless you’re a hoarder.

Also Admiral’s Compass. And flight whistle.

I hang on to the hearthstone. Nothing I know of like this in SL…but if you’re flying on a jetpack in Mechagon, the stone works in the air while the toys/spells don’t.

Been deleting hearthstones ever since I got the halloween hearthstone a few years ago.

You can take a portal from your capital city to Warspear (or… whatever Ally equivalent is), take a flight path to your garrison (or just fly yourself), talk to the innkeeper and you will get a new garrison hearthstone.

I use a penny pouch in one of my bag slots just for my hearthstone.

Get on my level.

Same.

Row 1: Hearth, Dalaran Hearth, Garrison Hearth, Darkmoon Guide
Row 2; 3 Legion artifacts, Underlight Angler
Row 3: PvP banner, Secret Fish Goggles, MoP cloak, Nat’s Hat

After that it fluctuates slightly sometimes, but not much.
