Bump. Also tried the manual entry and it didn’t work either. This is definitely annoying because it seems to be a simple quality of life thing that should never have been broken in the first place since its existed since Vanilla.
You jest, but it kind of does! I’m used to just hitting enter when I launch the game, but having to move the mouse and clicking before hitting enter is very jarring and I’m still not used to it after 15 years of doing it one way.

In vanilla it initially did not save it, but at some point I remember they changed it to save. so you could say it did both. It should be saving it and I find it annoying as well.

This is the worst change Blizz made. Please let me keep my server selected…
It’s very annoying there’s still not a fix for this.
Even more annoying now. I live west coast US and play on East coast server, so now that they have the servers separated by region, I have to switch tabs at the bottom of realm selection each time.

Well whaddaya know, they finally did it. Now it logs straight into my usual realm
