With the new update, i have to click US East everytime to click my server. Its bad enough i have to choose it everytime i login, now its an extra click. Can you just save my default server please? Super annoying.

A Blizzard explanation of the change somewhere, anywhere would be nice. Especially if they are going for the “classic” experience where there were patch notes for any changes made.

Apparently they want everyone to play on west.
It makes sense to have east and west tabs… Most people playing right now are casuals and its good for the population to be on the same time zone. Otherwise you get those people from the west on at 9pm and the east people who are logging off at midnight. Honestly they should have added this feature since launch. Now people have level 60s in realms that don’t go with their real time zone and can’t even transfer unless its to a less populated server.
However, It also makes sense for us to automatically have our server’s tab be selected when we log in. But yea dude one extra click is not that big of a deal come on.

Now not only we couldn’t save the realm we play on, now we have to select region first…cmon Blizzard, fix that annoyance and let us save last realm we played on. Thanks.

Minimizing the damage done by this extra click isn’t helping! It may be 1 extra click for you, but it’s millions of extra clicks, per day, if you count all the people who have to click.
With global warming being an issue, and clicking causing extra heat, you do the math…

It’s also one less click in my mouse’s lifespan, every time I log in. Think of the mouses!

The only thing it makes me initially think is most new players are going to make toons on the tab that is open to them first.

Hey, so i found in some comments how to fix this issue for anyone following this thread –
Open your config.wtf file and add SET realmName “your-realm” to the last line and save the file.
TADA, now you go straight to character select screen!
