No, +healing is for a warriors secondary or third set of gear whiles SGC is a hunters PRIMARY set of gear until another upgrade is found.

Hunters can use +healing gear for world farming, soloing content, exc. Just like warriors. But it’s secondary gear they won’t use in a raid., Just like when warriors get +healing gear. Heck I built a +healing gear on my hunter in actual vanilla (and got some hate for it) but at lvl 50 I was soloing princess because I had a lot of +healing /Mana 5 gear and could solo princess at 50. It took a long as heck time, but I did it.

But SGC is more useful to hunters than +healing gear is to warriors because it’s a primary gear item vs secondary. Regardless of how “easy” (RNJesus…) It is to replace.

It’s not selfish to think along the terms of “make sure I can perform as best I can, then help others”

If it’s not an upgrade for my primary role (dps) gear I won’t roll on it unless no-one else needs it for their primary. It’s MS>OS. If it’s an upgrade for my MS and I won’t benifit from you getting it (aka, do I group with you often?) Then I have 0 reason to pass. I don’t hand out cash to complete strangers and give things away until I have what I need. You can’t help others if you can’t even take care of yourself.

It’s selfish to say that you are equally deserving of an item that provides unequal benefit to different classes and specs that you gave unequal contribution towards obtaining.

And Warrior isn’t flavor of the month; it’s flavor of the entire game’s lifespan . Warrior doesn’t suddenly stop being DPS as the game progresses. They only get stronger.

So your argument then is that every single class should pass on every single one of their BiS upgrades for any and all dps warriors.

Good to know. I’m a decent person, though, so I’ll be considerate of the people I play with, even if they’re PUGs. If they need an item that is better for them than it is for me, I’ll pass, because I’m not selfish and entitled.

You don’t have my luck, I roll on it, I lose it 9/10 with a roll under 20.

My guild specifically had me roll for an item during a raid when we normally use dkp because they recognize that I don’t get items because I’m not able to raid as often as the other hunters (the joys of working at 330am…) So I have less dkp, I haven’t gotten an upgrade since week 1 of BWL. So they let me and the other hunter roll on it.

RNJesus hates me, I’ve accepted that fact and I work for my loot. I’ve done 376 arena runs in brd. Lost the roll on it 2 times seen it drop 2 times.

It took me over 100 solo princess runs to get the ring before DMT came out. I’ve soloed tribute over 300 times and have gotten one ring. Not from my run but because a guild members hunter was also soloing for gold and it dropped and he knows my luck. So he stood in DMT for 15 minutes as I made my way there to get it…

You do realize you’re just lying at this point, right? The ring has a 25% drop rate from a tribute run. To only obtain one after 300 runs is something like a 1/1,000,000,000,000,000,000 probability.

As well as the 127 runs you said it took you to get the Princess ring, which is about a 1/12,000,000,000,000 probability of happening.

So yeah, neither of these things ever happened to you.

I’ve said that SOME items are more useful on SOME classes or specs than on others. That doesn’t mean ALL items belong to Warriors.

Also, you forgot that you need a Druid, a Mage, 2-3 Hunters, 4 Paladins, a Druid, and a Warlock.

I know you anti-min/max folks tend to pretend we think that other classes aren’t useful , but stating the objective fact that one class’s DPS is superior to another’s does not mean I think only the best DPS/HPS should ever be invited to a raid.
