Savage gladiator chain is not for hunters or meme specs

This isnt a valid comparison at all and you know it!

Whatever happened to MS>OS in dungeons? If its an upgrade for mainspec, roll.
Really cannot believe at all youd liken MS upgrade/MS upgrade to needing healer gear as a warrior for some meme flask snapshot build!

Also, you are trying to apply competitive progression guild loot distribution to freaking dungeon pugs! What a joke.

Sounds like you should reserve the item in case it drops. Problem solved.

My Retribution Paladin alt has HoJ and SGC. What now?

honestly why not include hunters with meme specs? the class exists purely to pop tranq and give trueshot to actual DPS classes; they’re basically 3 meme specs in 1 class

2% crit chance + agi + possible set bonus from multiples? Sorry. You’re rolling for loot like everyone else.

did you… not read the op?

Did you not?

The post is saying how others should handle this item as a general discussion of loot etiquette and gave reasons why, not that the OP feels entitled to join others’ groups and have them use his loot rules.

no, i’m advocating that anyone who can make use of an item that they helped get to drop has a chance at it, be it /roll, or suicide kings or dkp, ect. it’s not ridiculous to expect equal reward for equal efforts, it’s criminal to not.

And that’s why you tank it and reserve SGC every time.

Okay, so Warriors have equal priority on healer loot because they can make use of it, which is basically what I said. You just got caught up on the /roll part and ignored the point I was making.

No guild could ever survive with a system like that.

Breastplate of Annihilation is better than SGC. That’s what the spreadsheets say, at least, and I tested it with the setups of every DPS warrior in my guild.

I think that you’re ignoring the benefits of going over the hit cap. Warriors don’t get as much from hit as rogues do, but:

  1. Even if you queue up Heroic Strike and don’t let it land your main hand swing is still affected by the dual-wielding hit penalty.
  2. Hit is SUPER valuable during the execute phase, as you can’t queue up Heroic Strike while executing and every white “miss” is one potentially lost global cooldown.
  3. Recklesness raises your crit % to your current crit cap, which is bigger if you go over the yellow hit cap

All in all, hit will never be as valuable to warriors as crit but in order to do the best possible DPS you will never sacrifice, say, 1% hit for 8 agility unless execute is irrelevant for a particular fight AND recklesness is down.

Everyone saying warriors should be tanking… meanwhile they are literally carrying you through PVE content as top DPS.

I’m so confused. Warriors are tanking, we don’t need more and I am, personally, grateful to have fury warriors to make clears that much easier.

Lol except you will see in chat looking for tank for arena/anger runs hoj and sgc reserved.

That limits their tank to a bear because no Warrior will tank it with both of those reserved. Maybe a Paladin would tank that as well.

Even a bear wouldn’t do this pretty sure they want hoj at the very least.

I don’t think HoJ works for them.

Always see them doing stealth runs for it figured they must be able to.

I guess they could use the AP but the proc definitely doesn’t work for them.
