Satchels not shown after queueing

Satchels of cooperation are offered as raid reward for a given role.

I queue up and they are not shown as a reward when the queue pops. I decline every time because the satchel that I queued up for is not being offered although it was when I queued so I drop queue every time the satchel is not shown as a reward on the queue pop frame, it only shows gold as a reward.

Because of this, I will drop the queue every time the satchel that was offered when I queued is not shown. The role is still shown as a bonus role for the raid I queued for. However, you give no indication that I will be receiving a satchel.

  1. I queue for bonus role offering a satchel
  2. Queue pops while bonus role offering satchel for the LFR raid is still active, but your queue pop frame does not give any indication that I will be receiving a satchel, only gold, so I decline the queue, causing your entire LFR raid queue to restart, pushing back everyone else in line for that queue.

Maybe you should be more generous with satchels and actually give an indication that your players will be receiving satchels for the bonus roles in LFR raids for which they are advertised.

The apparent stinginess by Blizzard in giving out satchels and indicating their future reward is not conducive to pushing more groups through the LFR queue and is not conducive to players wanting to accept the queue given that they do not know if they will be receiving them.

Again, the bonus is offered when I queue, it is still offered when the queue pops, but the frame indicates I will only receive gold, so I drop the queue and requeue. This happens over and over again.

If this is not a bug and it is intentional, I can only imagine it’s representative of the greater pattern of how small rewards, especially gold rewards (that take away from Blizzards profits by use of purchasing gametime with gold) are distributed to players in an unclear, convoluted fashion, pursuant to this lack of transparent and predictable behavior.

If you were to give satchels to roles that were showing the bonus when the player queued, instead of shadily hiding that players will not ever receive the satchel, or (for no apparent reason) not transparently showing that they will receive satchels (thus causing them to drop queues, and put the whole LFR raid back in a queue again, pushing others back, potentially) but actually this is pursuant to Blizzard
a) not giving out gold easily that would take away from their profits
b) slows players down gearing, gaining materials, and generating gold for use in raiding etc, which would also increase blizzards perceived profits by causing players to ALL (all players from the entire LFR raid queue that was dropped by players seeking satchels for bonus roles) to ALL have to spend MORE time waiting in queue, thus pushing back their progress, and in Blizzard’s thinking, causing them to pay more because their progress is slowed and their gold income is stifled.

Blizzard, with the typified pattern of "it’s going to take you over a month BEST CASE SCENARIO to get to item level 250, for just one character, and this is good for blizzard because it means you are going to pay for more months of wow? When in reality, if it were easier to gear, people would be enjoying themselves by playing different characters and specs, but instead:
THE BARRIERS TO ENTRY FOR THIS GAME ARE OUT OF CONTROL.

People would love to play multiple specs and gear up multiple toons. But instead, Blizzards paradigm is: it’s going to take you forever to just gear up one character, and then you can gear multiple specs, but you sure as heck can’t gear up two characters with a day job if you didn’t start running keys, rbgs, arena, heroic/mythic raids since the first patch!

This does not equate to more play time paid for by players. This only equates to players spending more time gearing up one character and being boxed into that toon if they have a day job, and even without a day job, it’s going to take you literally forever to catch up.

Imagine what it was like before the Valor and PVP gear upgrading! Even now, it’s still out of control.

Now let’s talk about procuring legendaries, gold for legendary materials, running torghast on a GATED, NO CATCH UP dynamic. You guys sure do box your players in. Covenant issue being handled in MID OCTOBER? Seriously, this is so laughable.

“No! You do not get to easily play multiple characters this expansion! You get to play your one or two characters (if you play a LOT) even though this doesn’t equate to us getting more subs! You are gated in catch up and we are going to make it difficult for you to generate gold easily and let’s also not make that transparent, either.” Obviously everyone would love to gear up multiple toons and play them.

Why would I want to spend my time RBGing with friends that have been playing the same toons since 9.0 when I could spend it running keys over and over again or low arenas getting stomped by low CR conquest farmers in 250 ilvl gear?
Blizzard: "You’re fricking insane! This is what you want! We did consumer testing and people love getting stomped in pvp! You have a low ilvl in low keys, not our problem! Go run keys with other ungeared people for a month or two and get back to us, same for getting stomped in pvp! Oh yeah, just go run BGs (LOOOOL) for a few hundred hours and then maybe you can compete in low CR pvp! You see, you the player, are wrong, not us.

gated covenants until mid october LOL
