SAS is going back to the basics

oh i know, im not the one abandoning my team

I suspect when the community found out their leader was off playing alliance secretly with BSG to attack horde communities specifically with the team that had been farming SaS (their own community) when they had the upper hand. Most people felt rather backstabbed … by that particular leader just a thought /shrug life is better now with AVM …less stress more fun

I want to do what’s fun, personally. If there’s people with bad history, I think it removes fun from a match, and I wouldn’t personally want to be a part of that.

i keep hearing this tale of Cinco going to the other side to farm her own community. i don’t know Cinco really at all, and i don’t keep track of peoples alts. but is the burden of proof not on the accusers then? Cinco said that isn’t true, and many former members of SAS say it is.

i’m braindead and forget this game has social interaction so maybe i missed a lot??? it’s possible i even missed proof.

those of us who were none the wiser are being treated as if we’ve betrayed someone too so there is a lot of misplaced rage from all sides imo.

it’s okay for someone to “switch sides” and do the thing they love the most. if that’s epic bg’s then the odds are going to be pretty high that we all bump into each other. maybe there were some bad feelings and some people got extra camped. i don’t really see it as something Cinco “shouldn’t have done” if she likes other people more then that’s her choice to play with them. uprooting the whole community is definitely crappy and seemed entirely unnecessary given how many of us are completely confused that the adults we gamed with let themselves get so wrapped up in unnecessary rivalry. but many of those who lead guilds or communities just want to walk away and choose sanity over staying. myself included and probably a ton of people in this thread.

every one involved in this needs to get on zoom naked and drink; let bygones be bygones.

I’m not the one yelling or attacking their own healers when I die because i want to top the charts. Also I have never afk’d out on any bsg match…so yeah I guess there’s that.

hey if the healers are being toxic and petty and it is costing everyone else the game, then i have no problems letting them have it, they deserve it. however, it turns out that if you surround yourself with good people you never have to do that.

you know why we stopped getting stopped on the hill on the way to hangar? because i pushed speed running that so i could slow the ally team knowing full well i would die because i was (at the time) the only one that far out ahead. ebgs aren’t arena and death isn’t the game.

additionally, this “topping the charts” as you say is doing the suppressive dps so our ranged burst could pick off sure kills, if i was super concerned with being the top dps in every game i wouldn’t surround myself with players who can pump more than me.

outright lie.

proof? i have never entered a match that i know of except an ashran where the leader said to leave the bg that i ever left a match. got proof? and that was well before bsg was ever created

^ This.

I’d prefer to not get involved in a fight between angry/bitter exes. (IRL or in-game.)

Wait a sec, there’s no proof? No eyewitness testimony?

Who started this rumor?!

Is this what y’all do in premade communities?

We afk’d once after three matches and they label us as chronic leavers. There is no honor (not the currency) to be gained playing against them, the toxic grp are nasty regardless of outcome. I can see why other ppl refuse to fight them. Rumor has it they are horribly bored, so the tactic is indeed working.

does Cinco have alliance alts, yes, but most pvpers have toons on both factions. what was going on was SAS was working with BSG to create better alliance communities, mainly becuase SAS had ran out of enemies. a bunch of people got really really upset at this, i imagine its the same tribalistic core who voted against making the community cross faction.

on the contrary, you guys stick around when others leave, and when its the 3rd game in a row nobody is going to fault you for leaving.

can’t trust elections anymore these days smh

there is only one battleground worth afk’ing out of and that is Seething Shore. soon as i see the loading screen i start having flashbacks and i’m spamming my a f k keys.

Basically i think everyone realizes the level of toxic gameplay and are just refusing to deal with that now. I mean if they won it would be one thing…as SaS did the first fight against them after the few left. Yeah we wooted and hollered in discord it was a tough fight but we won the first encounter we didn’t farm we played as usual. The next match i was in that they were in they had us beat in ashran …hands down so eventually the whole team went to ss to just hang out and let them win…what did they do…they searched the map for us …went down to ss and brought their whole team in to wipe us there…how seriously toxic to a group that you used to play with and called friends…so yeah the writing was on the wall. After they started to farm from what i heard every match i think people just said yeah enough is enough. That’s where the video i made for the series betrayal came from…the scenes from the ss were just before they came down to crash the party.

Ah the old “Less is more” defense.

Curious to see what everyone’s definition of “imploding” is.
