Saronite Mining

Hi Guys,
I’m pretty well caught up in SL and decided hey, I’m going to finally start farming for my own Mekgineer’s Chopper. All these years and I’ve always just made them for other people. So I head out to Icecrown and start doing the usual circle around. Every single node I hit gave ONE ore. Even the rich saronite nodes and a titanium node I found. Finding this odd, I went to Storm Peaks. Same exact thing. I didn’t try Sholozar because after Icecrown and Storm I figured something was weird. Has anyone else gotten this? I noticed the price on my servers AH went absolutely ballistic for it but just figured it was due to the inflated economy. If others are having this that could be why…

Did you train for Lich king mining? If you’re getting one and only one per node you probably didn’t train mining in old dalaran.

You have to train professions for every xpac now.

Also, I have found the best place for Saronite to be Wintergrasp. You just have to get out before the battle starts. If you aren’t running into nodes there, it is likely you are behind someone else farming it.

Dude, if that’s what it is I’m going to feel like a huge idiot. I was skinner/LW’er back then so I’m betting when I took up mining/engineering I forgot to go through Dalaran and pick up that part of mining. I’ll check when I get home. I appreciate the feedback, man!
