Hi all, Is the only way to do a raid for Sarkareth is to do a premade? I noticed it is not in the raid finder, thanks.
Yes. The LFR version won’t be available for a few weeks.

Thanks, so I would have to know someone to raid with in a premade group? Too bad, I want to reconvene with the main quest in the new area.
You can use the group finder to find a premade group. You can also join a guild or community that raids, if you don’t want to use group finder.

As above said, the raid finder is your best beet.
If you want to do the full raid then try at the start of the week. just type in “fresh” and you should get alot to pick from. just make sure you pick normal and not h. Also make sure it is really a fresh run and the host hasnt forgotten to rename it after a boss kill or two.
By now you should easily get a wing or two done (people know the raid and higher tir peolle are doing it for shards). Just dont beet on grtting loot. First week i got nothing and did up to the 2nd last boss. This week did the full raid and got 2 items (almost got my bis item, rolled a 100 but lost to a dude who also rolled a 100. I loled so hard i forgot to take a screenshot of it, lol)
Just rememeber to look up the fight beforehand. When i first did it i just booted up a guide and listened to it while we cleared to the next boss (my pick to watch is hazelnuttygamer. Shes fast, to the point and dosnt fuff about. She dosnt have the last boss guild up right now tho)
Yes, when a new raid comes out, LFR isn’t available immediately.
The one piece of advice I would suggest if you aren’t going to wait for LFR is to make sure to watch some raid guides on youtube so that you can be prepared for mechanics (bosses hit a lot harder in normal then lfr and they tend to have a lot more mechancis).
The LFR version of the raid releases over time, one wing at a time.
Last week the first wing opened up with three bosses, then I believe every two weeks thereafter they will sequentially open the remaining wings with three bosses each.
Thereafter, once fully open, you can use LFR to queue for the wing/set of three bosses that you want.
Otherwise, PUGing into a normal group via the group finder is your best bet, but watching videos on the fights for normal would be a big help. Many streamers and groups have guide videos for each fight on youtube, plus Wowhead has guides for each fight, too.

LFR for Sarkareth isn’t included in the last wing, apparently he gets his own separate wing and it’s released later. We ended up with the Third wing, but only two bosses. Magmorax and Echo of Neltharion. It’s theorized across other forums that Sarkareth will be released June 19th in his own wing according to other threads I’ve found elsewhere.
