Started my first vision run for the week of jan 28th. Got to the start of the 1st side zone and noticed I didn’t have orbs to use. reloaded then disabled my addons and it was still not there to use. i was forced to turn around and just kill thrall for a de item. Anyone else having that issue?

Mine refused to cast at all, even though it did show up.
Did you run a 2nd vision. I’m super paranoid now about doing another.
I have this problem too. It’s not showing up on both my toons. My rogue at least has the spell on her bar, so she can use it. My druid on the other hand, doesn’t and neither does the button show up on my screen. The only way I can do them now is in a group. Yes I disabled my add-ons, doesn’t fix the issue.
Sure I can run this with my guildies, but kind of dumb to have something I invested into doing solo and you can’t reset the research. If there was a way to toggle the button or add it again to your spell bar it would be nice.
Either way, can this please be fixed? I don’t feel like losing more vials to more bugs since those can’t even be refunded.
I’m having this issue on my hunter alt. It did show initially, but stopped showing after I got to rank 6. It’s still working on my other characters (rank 8 and rank 5). Wasted one vial earlier by not noticing until I needed it. Tried again just now to try and troubleshoot, couldn’t resolve it, so just skipped the objective and hit Thrall so it wouldn’t be a complete waste.
Additional info: I’m using the Dominos IU plugin (on all my characters), but haven’t made any changes to the settings recently. I haven’t tried disabling it yet, since I’m not eager to lose another vial just to rule that out using an interface I’m less efficient with. Also, tried a /reload to no avail.
Edit to add: Like OP, this coincided with the Jan 28 reset. My last run in Sormwind to get to rank 6 was the last time it worked.
Look like were in the same boat except I’m rank 7 on my cloak. SW was fine. Org was fine during opening week but week 3 gone. I’m going to run one now with all my addons off and see what happens
Similar issue here, specifically, the Extra Action Button to CAST the Orb was NOT appearing. I submitted a ticket but got the standard reset everything response BUT one GM offered some advice about another add-on that may be responsible in addition to the one I THOUGHT was causing the issue. Problem is that I can not iterate easily to track it down, but it has come from doing several Visions before I nailed the issue. Turns out my original suspicion is the cause, the otherwise wonderful and necessary add-on called MoveAnything. With it enabled, either solo or group, no button to click (and no indication how many HAVE been used), without it enabled, the button and remaining Orbs DO show.
Yes, this has been reported to the dev, yes I did need to adjust (not by a whole lot I must add) the extra action button in the carefully crafted UI I have made. AND this is NOT an issue or problem in doing any other content, JUST in Horrific Visions.
In the case of Dominos, I’ve discovered that my encounter bar placement where it displays my corruption would overlap the spell button for sanity orbs, since for some reason that spell isn’t aligned with domino’s Extra Button.
So I did a few test runs. First one I did, I disabled all my addons except dominos so i didn’t have to re bind everything and I still could not use my orbs. My second run was with no addons and the orb did show up. Looks like the issue is with Dominos itself. Hope this helps,
There is a “zone” bar (similar to extra action button). Your bar addon may have it off to the side. mine was hidden under my quest list text.
Just had this happen to me rank 9 cloak on 2 toons. i do run Dominos and Move any Thing add ons but have never had this happen up to today February 9th
I just ran with " Move any Thing " disabled and still had the same problem. Have not tried with Dominos disabled and not sure that i can i really struggle with the normal UI bar will keep this on update
I have seemed to have fixed this problem . The Sanity Orb is considered a Zone ability and the icon box had some how been set near the top right of my screen ( not the place i had it and was some how mixed in with some other icons i had there ) So i moved it back to where i had it placed before using the move anything add on . Im not sure how this got reset but if u are using " Move Anything " add on keep an eye on the zone ability bar
