Honestly everyone I know hates running this dungeon as a higher key, it is literally the most over tuned PoS dungeon this expansion. I hate that I got stuck with one for my first key from the vault, and wish I could reroll it to something else just because the trash and bosses plain out suck and are unfun to do.
SD is incredibly easy in season 2. Give it a go, my dude.
I keep getting DoS. Please save me and please add more portals to DoS
I would prefer SD because I have fun in that dungeon minus two pain points. Please figure out a way to trade your SD key for my DoS key and I will give you a
I dunno man, after the nerfs that dungie is a joke.
The first boss is pretty over tuned.
Other than that the dungeon is fine after the nerfs.
Now…. MIST first boss OMFG who tf made that boss. It is a nightmare Espacially as melee on tyranical
Interesting. I haven’t logged onto retail since the day 9.1 dropped, but my least favorite M+ dungeon was SoA. 99% of the time the group would fail sometime from the 1st boss - the 2nd boss.
They nerfed the first boss this week. 20% damage reduction on his charge attack.
They need to nerf the dmg of the popping balls
You can reroll it by completing another dungeon at the same level or higher.
Also yes its overturned butits not undoable.
Least the fixed some of the trash, although i feel they buffed 3rd boss and 2nd still does way too much dmg
It was nerfed into oblivion on S1, let alone S2.
You can have two full wipes in SD and still time it. The timer is INCREDIBLY forgiving.
It’s not that SD is hard, it’s that it’s frustrating because you can’t effing SEE because of the narrow corridors and such. But the mobs aren’t any harder, the bosses are easy, once you figure out to turn your camera to line up with the direction of the hallways so you can see you’ve solved much of that problem… you realize it isn’t so bad.
And then you’re left with a dungeon that isn’t so bad… with an INCREDIBLY lax timer.
SD has a bad rap. It’s one of the easier dungeons, once you’ve run it more than 3 times.
Finally someone gets it. I swear every time I see dungeon tuning and no changes to Grand Proctor I die a little more inside. Probably the most overtuned dungeon boss in SL currently.
I’m giggling a bit thinking of Shrine of Storms in BFA, guess there will be one dungeon each xpac
Never been to Sanguine Depths, not even on Normal and I already hate it based on this description just as I hated Black Rook Hold in Legion
Who likes narrow dungeons?
SD is one of the easiest dungeons this season. They nerfed it to the ground. If you think it’s too hard I don’t know what to tell you.
Is it over tuned just because people fail at range checks? For the orbs the tank only needs 1 orb even on Tyrannical 19.
Sanguine punishes bad melee more than most dungeons. Most people are overly intimidated by the 2nd boss because after nearly a year they still don’t actually know how to zig zag properly.
DOS or spires is the actual hardest dungeon (spires more so because 3 of the anima powers are not available to you for over half the dungeon). If tyrannical and explosive is in this rotation, Mists jumps up there greatly because explosive is so effing annoying given all 3 bosses have huge amounts of movements and orbs that can spawn in areas players aren’t likely paying attention to.
There is always going to be a dungeon everyone hates. Be it Black Rook Hold, Shrine of the Storm or Sanguine Depths.
Its okay to have a dungeon that is a little more miserable than the others, since one of them has to be the worst one.
Big hang up I run into is groups that don’t focus the add on the second boss.
Personally it’s the camera boss in the tight hallways as melee when you have to continually move back and forth and turn a lot.
But if you have a group that can do the mechanics it gets pretty easy.
Sanguine is much better than it used to be…
But you could try to run another key of same level and then trade with the key guy at the end if you don’t want to run SD.
Most keys go to the fifth platform in Theater of Pain to die. Toughest boss in the game.
I don’t believe I’m about to say this
because I hate SD with the fires of a thousand suns. I hate narrow hallway dungeons, and I hate gauntlets.
but it’s not that bad anymore.
