Just picked up blacksmithing. Getting to know the ropes. Noticed that Zandalar gear requires Sanguicell… 250 of them… For one piece!
Now don’t you only get that as a random drop from the last boss in a raid? That you can only do once a week? And even then you’re not guaranteed to get it?
This is my biggest problem with the expansion, honestly. I was a big crafter but now, most things are a loss unless you gather too. So I just do gathering and sell.
I have nearly 1200 of them. Completely useless for alchemists. I’m glad I kept them though our new trinket coming on the 11th uses like 280 or something to make. Still leaves me with a boatload of them and nothing but feasts to use it on >.>
Not to mention you can do LFR + normal + heroic + mythic and get sanguicell from each boss each week…
Granted I only do Heroic and a couple mythic bosses, but I have well over 1k of the things I can’t use. (Yet anyway - feasts will use them in the patch)
I’ve got over a thousand Sanguicells and I wish I could give them away of trade them for something else considering that JC and Engineering both have no use for them.
Hopefully we get some kind of love for goggles in the next patch where we can use these sanguicells because I hate not being able to use them.
They really need to allow them to be usable for more things. Let me trade them for materials. Like we did with blood of Sargeras. I think the problem is there are SO MANY OF THEM in the game right now that it would flood the market and disrupt the economy.
At the very least they should allow us to use them to make cauldrons.
Yeah between automatic 10 per boss from Heroic and 20 per from Mythic, I have multiple stacks banked and nothing to use them on. 250 for the top-level piece sounds like a lot, but honestly the expulsom is a far worse gate – especially since the secondaries are random and might throw your Reorigination into something useless so you may have to craft it multiple times to get something that isn’t actively detrimental.
