Is there any hope that Alchemists will have a use for Sanguicell in 8.1?
I mean, at the very least, give us a transmute that uses it, to make something we can use.
232 and counting.. would be nice to have a use...
Nothing on the 8.1 PTR at this point. They do show two new alchemist stones at 400 and 415 but the main ingredient is the new Breath of Bwonsamdi. Oh, and you can convert one Breath of Bwonsamdi into one Sanguicell. You can read that as Blizz has totally lost their mind or maybe that they aren't finished with the alchemy changes yet.
Yea, I'm almost at a thousand sanguicell with no use for them because alchemy/engineering can't use them at all. It's a pretty crappy situation to have a raid drop material that most professions can't use at all.
As others have stated, they REALLY need to give alchemy a transmute that converts sanguicells into something else, be it random herbs/potions/flasks/etc.
Hell they could even add a transmute similar to the old Spirit of Harmony ones from MoP that let you do transmute without a cooldown by spending Sanguicell (AKA a way to convert Sanguicell into Expulsom)
