Seriously, Please put a NPC to be able to fly us out to the raid entrance. Its nothing less then a gauntlet to reach. While its to be expected in this zone, it is however a pain in the backside for those just trying to get to the entrance of SoD for raid night…

We got this new fancy flight path between Koritha and Ve’nari’s refuge. Surely we can have a third point added to it!
I’ll even pay stygia for it if I have to.
I don’t like the fact slackers have so much justification for begging for a summon.
It annoys me that I have to feign death at least twice and use a heal pot just to make it to the raid entrance… This is just stupid…
Desmotaeron is garbage. Elite mobs everywhere that keep slowing and rooting you. I can barely survive this place as a tank.
I ran in tank spec with 66k hp from start to entrance and lost 60% HP. Yeah it sucks.
Everything this expansion seems locked behind miles of elites and it feels terrible.

In a literal sense, making the journey part of the destination.
Placement of this raid entrance shows exactly why PTR testing / feedback is generally useless.
They did this outside of Orgrimmar for SoO. They should’ve done the same with SoD.

I understand that but isn’t it a bit odd to complain about difficulty when you are making your way towards doing something difficult?
I don’t really care either way… I just think it’s weird.
just tested your theory and not once I had to bubble, heal, lay on hands, or have to remount
running to the raid like this is fine, its literally the Jailer’s front gates of course you’re expected to be attacked
When the running to the entrance raid costs you more repair than the actual raid run

Blizz: OK, no mount, graveyard far away, long path to run back, and elites surrounds everything at max level.
Player: That is not harder. That is just more inconvenience and poor design. You are so out of touch.
There’s a difference between having an entire raid fight stuff all the way to the boss inside the raid… and one person by themselves trying to just get to an entrance.
We haven’t seen anything close to this since Vanilla.
Why not have the raid fight on the way to the entrance though? (Maybe just think of it as part of the raid.)
And yet people like Dark Souls, and it runs on that design constantly.
Just so you can spend 30 seconds dying to a boss again.
