There’s the problem, we have only 4 elf races, this is too few, we need more, there isn’t a thing such as “too many elves”, elves are never too much! The more elves the better, elf everything.

I still think we’ll get some form of undead elf (hopefully san’layn) considering recent events on Darkshore and considering they’ve been popularly requested for quite some time now. With how things are at Blizzard right now, anything that holds the promise of a lot of money will probably catch their attention. Elves are very popular and thus provide a good amount of income.
I do think they will eventually add san’layn, I’m more worried about the state of the game by the time they do so.

I mean, the whole “we don’t need more elves” is an entirely subjective opinion to hold, with no empirical evidence to factually corroborate that we “don’t need more elves.” You don’t even have a set parameter for necessity, do you measure that by player engagement, or necessity by having all races have their on allied races as a priority, even when player engagement for them would be minimal?
The problem is not that “we don’t need more elves” that’s not the argument you are making, cause you are not actually making any argument at all. You just don’t want more elves, and somehow think that presenting your opinion -your entirely subjective opinion- as a matter of measure of need gives it more validity.

See, you put way more effort into pointing that out than I was going to put forth. Thank you, this is exactly it, and I can’t put it any better. I mean yes, some people are tired of elves, and other races being put in would be lovely as well. But if we face reality, elves are very popular and at the end of the day, it’s not going to be the end of the world if some that have in depth lore and are really interesting end up being added, especially if it’s along with some other races.

Incorrect. We require at least 6 kinds of elves. 1 for each type of cosmic magical energy they can be addicted to.
Nature - Night Elves
Fel - Blood Elves
Void - Void Elves
Arcane - Nightborne
Light - High Elves
Necromantic - Darkfallen

I think there is, particularly in Stormheim. The vampyr there do have red eyes! I think if we did get San’layn as an allied race, we’d also get red eyes. OH! Also, this, take a close look.

I’ve been searching for the Blood Marquess in Nazmir on the horde side, but haven’t seen her. She’s probably only visible or seen in the Alliance campaign, right?
Also, bats are sooo cute.
As elementalist (blood elves have them such as in the twilight cult) , dark shaman, or battle magi imo. Wish we had more shaman especially elven shaman as battle magi.

Although I’m mainly an Alliance side player, I do like some Horde races, such as Blood Elf and Undead. I would love to see San’layn/Darkfallen be a Horde Allied Race, seeing they’re a blend of Undead and Blood Elf…an Undead Elf!
