apparently, blizzard is observing, they dont want to reveal what they are holding for later, it this a good sign of why they dont want to answer? because they want to release it? or are they watching what the player wants the most.
High elves are the most requested, however blizzard already said no about it, after high elves the race with the longest mega thread is us the san'layn...vulpera and sethraks after it.
I believe we must continue to grow this megathread so blizzard can end up giving san'layn to us, believing that we really want this race more than the others, and its worth the effort.
Lets not give up, there´s still hope!
Yes, they also re-deconfirmed the High Elves for BfA at Blizzcon. A fan had told them about the community and Ion said "Yeah not for BfA but that does not mean never". So that does rule them out entirely of BfA regardless.
Vulpera were
not in fact deconfirmed but asked about in the WoWhead interview, where they were not rejected. This is great considering I love their community and want to play a Vulpera as well. But while High Elves were asked for and declined twice (for BfA specifically), Vulpera were specifically asked for twice now (in a QnA a while ago and then again in that wowhead interview tonight) and yet not declined at all. Therefore, they might not be ready to be announced if they are indeed planned, and I think that's a good sign for that community, which makes me thrilled.
Now, where does that leave us. Well, we have not been asked about at all (I don't think we have a big enough community sadly) but have not been shot down either, despite being here a while and the huge bit of spam that came out when the San'layn text for 'joining the Horde' was released, along with Dreven being discovered.
Well... we're in the same spot as before, and leaning toward a good thing, due to that quill, I believe. Again, I don't know if it means anything or is relevant to progression for ARs specifically. But... there's quests related to it. We could learn more about vampyr lore.
Also, if they indeed are watching,
I do want to tell Blizzard one thing.
That quill design is simply amazing. (Sanguine Feather Quill of Lana'thel, of course!) It is beautiful, and while it's just a small thing, it's important to us. Well, to me anyway. I can't speak for everyone. I'll go into specifics about what I love:
--> The slightly torn but clearly bat wings. Tipped with blood, too? That's honestly brilliant. The coloration on this object is excellent.
-->That deep red color is great and works well with the green gem, makes a good combination for the San'layn and feels like a homage to their sigil.
-->The pen's tip is glowing red, which makes it seems like it'd write in blood (The siphoning blood of course has this effect make a lot of sense.)
-->What I like about it the most, though, is the bat wing design for it clearly. I like how bats are now starting to be emphasized for San'layn. I know Lana'thel might have just been an 'inspiration' to the creator, but this object still resonates with San'layn lovers like myself. If Blizzard is in fact looking into expanding San'layn style and lore, this little tidbit is a wonderful step and a wonderful sign that I am excited about. Might be just a small thing, but it is great anyway.
