Happy Halloween, y’all! I hope everyone has a safe and fun day today, and it’s an exciting (and fitting!) time for the megathread, considering Blizzcon is tomorrow.

As I said before, the chances of seeing what the next expansion is are pretty good. I have a hard time imagining all WoW related stuff is just more elaboration on 8.3, and even with Vulpera and MechaGnomes haven been announced earlier, I’m sure Blizzcon will be better than last year’s…and hopefully it will still be decent.

I’ll say again that my main hope is to see at least another pair of allied races announced, given that they would make great pre-order incentives for the next expansion, and of the three Horde races I go on and on about, I feel like San’layn have the best chance. Still, I’m trying to suppress any excitement until I see what Blizzcon offers…especially given that we’re likely to see several months of radio silence again after the fact.

Whatever happens, I’ll be around to discuss, analyze, and grumble with others here. I will again advise caution in trying not to get too worried, depending on what we see. Even if San’layn get shown in an unfavorable chance of being playable, there is always a chance something can change, be it in the near future or far future. Hopefully they do not end up being minions of Sylvanas to act as violent loot dispensers, but I’ll keep an open mind until I see what occurs.

Whatever happens, for better or worse, I’ll always have hope for and will always support Ogres, Saurok, and San’layn as playable Horde races.

In the meantime, time to enjoy Halloween!

I’m so glad to hear that it makes you happy. I apologize you have had to put up with that. The San’layn community has always been a enjoyment to roleplay with. Sure there might be a couple bad eggs that might not know enough about it. But instead of shunning them, teach them perhaps?

I personally haven’t met any/if at all bad eggs of San’layn roleplayers, they stay quite informed. I’ve met more bad eggs trying to roleplay a Sin’dorei then a San’layn if I’m going to be all honest.

I would love to roleplay with you sometime!

I personally and quite heavily agree with this. Keeping my toes crossed as well!

Personally I would love to see some Bolvar action - maybe he tosses the San’layn at the Horde? And a different Scourge race for the Alliance? It would make sense if he tossed something he may have access too as the ‘new’ lich king. [Not that canonically none of us even /know/ besides Death Knight’s he is the Lich king.]

It would be a great way to introduce them, and give them a personal storyline. Perhaps we Hordies have to help the San’layn out and find the Missing Blood Princes? They were sent on a mission by the previous King, and have been captured - and the Death Knight’s need horde help to retrieve them?

I also like the Lorash idea of him becoming a Blood Prince for the Horde.

I do think there’s multiple options Blizzard could go with to have the San’layn with us. They have so many ways of making a Blood Prince show up. For example…

  1. Lorash becomes a Blood Prince. [He’s a Undead Elf!]
  2. We find one o r both of the missing Blood prince’s through a rescue mission or some other method.
  3. We get a Blood Prince from Bolvar to help our forces against the big threat’s looming ahead.
  4. We bring back one of the Deceased Blood Princes or the Blood Queen Lana.
  5. We save a Darkfallen Prince from the alliance? [Mostly likely worgen.]
    And even more then that!
    There’s so many options to choose from.

Since it’s Halloween, how about some /silly jokes and /flirt ideas? Apologies if these may have been listed before:

I try to self reflect, but I can never find a functioning mirror.

We got very interested in the Horde when we found out they were all about BLOOD and thunder!

We San’layn tend to not feed on Worgen. They have bad blood with us.

Orgimmar is a great place, but it really needs a blood bank. I tend to go through withdrawals quite often.

Look, I know we look cute in bat form, but it’s hard to be a terror in the night when everyone just wants to pet us!

Finding viable prey in Northrend is really hard. We usually end up giving them frostbite.

Oh, Powerful, Almighty, and Royal Highness, Blood Queen Fallynn! I hope we all ask about the fate of the San’layn! I really wish we could have them as an Allied Race, and if not, then add it as a character customization to Undead, Blood Elves, or a mixture of both. ((I accidentally left your Discord server, because it put the server into a “folder” mixed with a different server…))

Well I hope you guys over at the San’layn Community but also Forsaken/Sylvanas Fans get what you want from Blizzard. I mean you guys deserve alot better than what you guys got during this Expansion with no San’layn or just losing Forsaken Lands.

I might still be around on Discord but I have to leave the Official Forums. Things are just not working out for me on here and for good reasons. So I wish you guys the best of luck for your Campaign and support for the Forsaken Lore and San’layn as well. Always have a Great rest of the Year and Next New Year. Peace.

Yeah if Sanlayn turn out to be an allied race later down the line. Looks like you’re getting what you wanted. Gonna be a great expansion for Death Knights and undead roleplayers and the like.
