I upvoted Fallyn and Nem's questions (in fact I started from the beginning and upvoted all related questions). The point is, San'layn/Undead Elves are very much sought after even away from these forums.
After watching that video for the models this is something the horde needs!!

The word 'edgelord" both amuses and annoys me at the same time. I mean so what if I like spooky things or the themes of the undead? So what if I like angsty or brooding characters (not over the top, mind you). It doesn't make me evil or a bad person. People use that term to try and offend or invalidate others. Basically, it's just another childish name people call one another. I say we own that word.

Tbh the word "edgelord" is right up there with "cringe" IMO. Ex: I mean geez we get it, you have an "oh so superior" taste in characters and themes (/s) than the the rest of us. Now, kindly take it elsewhere.10/30/2018 08:29 AMPosted by Balesong...I think my outfit makes it pretty clear that Vespero IS an edgelord!

Wasn't talking about you btw, just providing an example.

You guys are hitting the nail on the head today. I agree entirely. People honestly just want to feel better about themselves and be bullies. Me? I keep loving what I love. They'll keep name calling but I'll still be here. Also as usual thank you for your support!

It's funny because it mostly comes from the "I want to be the greatest hero ever, never have flaws, and be the savior of the world!" crowd as if that's not childish fantasy in itself.
Damnit, I just want some Undead/Vampire Elves because they look awesome and I'm still sad about having to kill the Blood Princes and Blood Queen Lanathel after 9 years.

elves are so popular, blizzard has no reason to stop at just 4.
Besides, Sanlayn are as much elf as forsaken are humans, so what's the deal?
the future is now, old zug
and the future is ELVES

orcs, tauren, worgen, goblin, trolls, and draenei have knife ears as well. that physical trait is not solely reserved for elves.10/30/2018 10:26 AMPosted by Rokrekkenough with the knife ears already.

Sorry you feel that way, I encourage you to go support something you like, and put work into it like we have here. We'll continue to be here however and share ideas for San'layn, despite people parroting 'no more elves'. I did write a response on that via the first post, however I feel like people that constantly repeat that don't read it.
Just so, I wish you luck in supporting whatever it is you want to see while we continue on here.
If the male San'layn get an upright body instead a woman's hip and come with DK option mabe i change my f. troll to a male san'DK
I upvoted.
Here's my somewhat related question.

Though I went with Undead Elf/Dark Ranger to be more in theme with the RTS and what we are seeing on the PTR to try and get some of the bandwagon.

I upvoted yours too. It's a good question and hopefully it will be answered.

If Lorash is the herald of a new Undead Elf allied race... well, I suppose I can always roll assassination rogue and pretend that they're a vampire.
The red eyes would help a bit with that. Maybe. A little. Sort of.
True San'layn will always be top preference, however.

Same here. If we get undead elves at all, I'll settle for that. Like you I would prefer San'layn.
Why not bothhhhh?! Just name it Undead Elf and have Dark Ranger skin (yes, it's a class but it's a class that will probably never get integrated because Hunter exists) and San'layn skin. Everyone wins! Though I guess heritage armor might complicate this :\ SO MAKE TWO SETS! I just really want both but I see it being one or the other and that makes me sad.
I sincerely hope we don't just get undead elves. They bring nothing new, not at all, and there is nothing unique about them. Might as well just play a Blood Elf Death Knight at that point, you know? Whereas thematically, San'layn embody blood magic, something not deeply explored. Blood Death Knights use runic magic to control blood, yeah, but it's just a spec and is not true vampirism at all. I wouldn't really settle, to be honest, and would find myself a bit sad if it happens.
That being said, I don't see just regular undead elves as being a thing. They have no unique identity. San'layn, for this reason, have a much higher chance of making it in because they would be new and bring playable vampires. Look at how they've been presented so far! There has to be more. I can almost guarantee it.
