I have played WoW off and on for 20 years, and every time I come back, it is the same old crap. They never met the time they set for the maintenance. Like today, they said one, then two, and now three. It’s not about the actual time; it’s about setting an expectation, so you expect to come back and things should be up and running. Just becomes very frustrating.

The most disappointing part about this is that it’s not even a major patch, it’s just them uncapping crests and…opening nighthold?

That’s why it’s an estimate. It can go longer or shorter, depending on said issue or issues. Not once did anyone say it’ll be done at this exact time. If you played for 20 years then you should already know this.

Trust me back in the day (Vanilla and even TBC) the maintenance was WAY worse than it is now and sometimes they didn’t even give extra game time for the inconvenience. Now if it was 6 hours or even the whole DAY then we have a issue and ten they would have to give us some extra time.
